I work as a retail pharmacist and do a ton of stapling while at work. I first bought this product in June of 2013 when I relocated from one pharmacy to another. My first week working was all right and the staplers provided by another pharmacist were quite subpar. EVERYONE complained about how the staplers jammed and often stapled incorrectly. Sometimes one prong didn't bend or the staple was twisted as it was attached. Furthermore, it was difficult to staple more than 3 or 5 pages.So I decided to search for the stapler from my previous store. Luckily, I found it here on Amazon and ordered it immediately. This stapler is amazing and highly dependable. I staple an average of 110,000 times a year (yes, this is a pretty close estimate based on the number of prescriptions I fill annually) and this stapler has not jammed a single time.The grip is perfect and works for both small and large hands. The amount of pressure it takes to use the stapler is very low and it can be utilized quickly and easily. Highly recommended!

This is the stapler to rule all staplers! I work in a pharmacy, we staple over 300 bags with packets of receipts every single day. I purchased this one forever ago. It is still working wonderfully! My boss bought us another one so we would stop fighting over mine. We have tried at least 15 different staplers, this one is king. It's so easy to use, one coworker is 65 with RA and she loves using it as well. Buy it!!!!!

This product arrived open, damaged and with no box of staples (there is a specific place in the packaging for the box(es) of staples and the package says 'staples included). The back plastic end of the handle where you insert the staples is weak and poorly designed. This piece will easily break! TERRIBLE DESIGN! DO NOT BUY! I missed the return window on this product due to summer travel. What a disappointment!

Love it works great but the plastic leaver that you have to pull out to load the staples is not will it break but when. Should rethink to make it metal. Still recommend

As a senior citizen I have probably used more staplers than most people. The Stanley Bostitch Plier Stapler works better for me than any other. It does not jam. It will take even small segments of staples--when the strip of staples breaks, for example--and never miss a beat. It also staples more sheets of paper together than any other stapler I have used. Other staplers have a tendancy to bend staples and disfigure staples when 10 or more sheets are stapled together. This stapler punches through every time and secures all the sheets perfectly. I love it.

I work where I have to staple 2-10 pages of paper around 200 times a day. It holds up to the job, no problem, no jamming, and most importantly, it doesn’t hurt my hands

Good Value, Well Made

I wanted a better stapler than what was available for use in our public elementary school classroom. I volunteer there and I cannot see how the teacher stands it. The stapler jams again and again. If you don't push it down hard enough and just right it jams. If you're going too fast it jams. So I brought this one to test it out. (Yes, I brought my own stapler to the classroom.)It hasn't jammed on me once. It's easy to insert the staples in the back. It's easier to push down than the traditional desktop stapler. It's relatively quiet. It takes standard staples so there's no need to special order. I also tried a PaperPro Generation II Hi-Start Stapler which worked just fine. It used very little force to staple and also did not jam. However, it was loud. So, the Stanley Bostitch AntiJam Standard Plier Stapler wins.However, I cannot figure out how to open it for tacking, as Amazon's description says it can. If it can tack posters on the wall it would be perfect as a gift to the teachers I work with.

Bought it cause it was advertised as "jam-free". It jammed alot and is a pain in the ass to load the staples.Sent it back and orderd an Amazon basics for less money. No jams and loads quick and easily!

I have known about Stanley Bostitch for many years, and have loved their products. At first I said to myself that their stapler may not be good, but again I realized shortly after receiving it that their experience is shining here. The build is great, and it fits good/feels good in the hand. It certainly feels like its worth at least two times the price. The reason I went for the plier type stapler, is I realized for myself that this would be the most convenient way for my use. I am an eBay seller, and a lot of times I have to staple receipts for when i ship the item, onto the buyers payment form, for when I file it. This allows me to easily hold it, put the receipt from the top left, and staple is down. The staple action is good as well, it is buttery smooth, and the top of this stapler goes in, making it feel very nice when something is stapled. Overall, I give this item 5 stars with no hesitation, it does everything I want, and appears/feels to be double the price great product Stanley!

I got 2 staples way back 2017 and 2018. They were very good. Rarely got jam and last very long until now. I work in pharmacy so we use them so many times a day. I purchase 2 more because I need for each station. Please don’t discontinue this design. Others seem not last long like this PLUS It use standard staples so they are inexpensive compare to crown staples designed.
