08-03-2026I had an earlier version of this stapler that wore out after eight years of heavy use. I replaced it with this one from Amazon. Although this one is no longer US made, the quality is still excellent.I'd compare it to an plain Jane Italian made espresso machine...no bells and whistles but rock-solid reliability.Two important things about this stapler that make it stand out: First, it does not use an AC adapter and plugs directly into the electric outlet. Competing brands claim to give you flexibility by using batteries or an AC adapter. But that is false economy because you will trade off the force with which this one can staple right through heavy paper. This model works particulary well with Speedpoint SF 4 staples sold at your local office supply stores (they cost a bit more but last a long time). They work better than the Bostich branded staples.Second, the red indicator light warns you when you're about to run out of staples. It is not perfect but does the job.There's nothing "pretty" about this stapler, but it is a low key workhorse that does just one thing really well: Staple!Highly recommended.

08-03-2026We have had a number of staplers in this office that have done the job, but there was always something that left us wanting for more...super noisy and loud...jammed while only stapling a few sheets of paper...difficult to load. There was always something. This stapler has been a total dream in our office! It is SUPER quiet. It can staple a LOT of sheets of paper. When it says 30 sheets...it means 30 sheets! I am not going to say the j*m word because I do not want to jinx this little miracle. Our *ENTIRE* office LOVES this stapler!

08-03-2026I like this stapler so much, I purchased a second one. Upon loading the feeder tray for the first time, the stapler jammed on me and have tried everything that the manufacturer suggested and cannot unlock the jam. I never got to use the stapler and I will return this in exchange for a "perfect" working model. I use this for my business and got tired of jamming and breakdowns of the cheaper Swingline models which I purchased at the local office supply stores. . . probably 6 in all over 4 years. (all in about the same price range, but this Stanley Bostitch price is a few dollars higher). If you are interested in a workhorse type stapler in this price range, spend a few extra dollars and go with this model Stanley Bostitch, - or you will end up "paying the price" by poor performance of others as I did. I regard this new jamming as a fluke and expect to receive a replacement of this same model.

08-03-2026I wanted something that can staple 20-30 pages at a time without bogging down. This stapler punches through that many pages with ease. The stapler feels like high quality, sounds high quality and looks high quality. as a 67 year old who has bought or used many staplers in that time, well, this is the best one i have ever tried. You will like it, and as a plus for me, it it white, it seems most staplers are either chrome or black in color and the white color they made this from I find more pleasing to the eye, it blends in better. The other colors are not bad but they stand out to much for my liking.

08-03-2026I must admit ... I initially thought this was a battery powered stapler, but it is actually a corded electric stapler.It does work great. Hasn't jammed at all. Very powerful. No issues getting a staple through a large stack of paper. The best stapler I've ever owned!Oh yeah ... it doesn't come with any staples, so make sure you buy some if needed. Takes standard staples.
