I brought this stapler from home when I volunteer at my son's school, because every single stapler in the building is unequal to the task of tacking children's work to the bulletin board in the hallway. I would spend forever out there, feeling lame, surrounded by ruined staples, just trying to tack up their work in the hallway. Finally, I GOOGLED a stapler that could work on bulletin boards, and found this. It's like using a staple gun for bulletin boards. Works so easily. Soon, the other moms were borrowing it, and I just bought another one to give to my son's teacher.I have seen a review that complained that it's too powerful to use on just a few sheets of paper. That one must have been defective, because I tack single sheets to the wall, as well as staple two sheets together, all the time just fine. It's never jammed, and I use it frequently.This is the best stapler I've ever owned. Honestly, before I bought one, it would seem strange for anyone to wax poetic about a stapler. Times change when you've got an entire school of elementary students filing past you to lunch while you are STILL trying to tack up the &*(&*&(*& artwork, without using any naughty words, shoving the stapler against the unforgiving wall surface for the 5,565th time, but the staples of an inferior stapler keep bending and falling out. Then you have to go borrow the secretary's magnet to pick up all the dead staple carnage. Trust me, after an afternoon of this, you would be gleefully telling all your volunteer mom friends about this little dynamo. Instead of sweating and swearing and trying to force those little &(&*& staples into a bulletin board that must be made out of granite, everything goes up with a touch of a finger.

I bought this Paper Pro Prodigy for home use - it satisfies in almost all categories.CONS - it doesn't store vertically as I had hoped .. I think all desktop staplers should stand upright .. this one doesn't ..and it's expensive for a stapler .... the box of supplied staples is the smallest box of staples I've ever seenPROS - it does deliver on the "one finger" stapling, not a lot of muscle required here .. it's easy to load staples ... it has very nice packaging .. you can try out the stapling with the stapler in the package(if you saw it in a store that is ... and if there were staples in the stapler, mine didn't have any in the chamber), the stapler splits out of the bubble pack easily without major injuries ...I wanted to test the "25 pages" claim .... I had some note pad paper that was about 28# I would guess ... it stapled 10 sheets OK, I doubled it over and it stapled 20 sheets without a problem ... the "25 sheets" of 20# paper claim seems reasonable ... I've also noticed on other staplers that you can go through more sheets if you oil the staples a littlebottom line .... an expensive but very good stapler

Quite simply, and without a doubt, this is the best stapler I have ever had. Everything about it is perfect:It has a very sturdy metal construction, so you know it will last a long time. Even the plastic parts are quality plastic. Unless you drop it from 10 feet into the stone floor, this will outlast your pet!It staples effortlessly. I originally researched some staplers for my mother who has arthritis. She can't open jars and bottles, and had a really hard time stapling with regular staplers. The first PaperPro stapler I bought for her was a godsend, and from then on I've never looked back and have always been buying from this brand. This particular stapler can staple up to 25 sheets.It uses regular staples. That was a key decision in purchasing. I didn't want to buy specialty staples, I wanted regular staples so I can just run to the local store if we ran out and needed some right away.And finally, it looks great. Just pick out a spot for it on your desk, and it'll stay there for years(besides when you can to put in new staples) as you'll never need to move it or pick it up. Just feed in the sheets, and apply one finger - MAGIC!

I needed a stapler that I could use to tack items to a wall. The staple holder falls out every time I open the stapler to use it to tack. It also jams and often uses two staples for one press. I now have to research again to find a stapler that I can reliably use to tack items to the wall as well as use as a desk stapler.

PROs - Absolutely works great when you have many sheets to staple. Solid feel. My opinion is it is built to last.CONs - Every single time I used this stapler to staple 2 sheets of paper, the force of the stapler pushed the staple through the first sheet. Visualize this: I was using this to staple 2 sheets of paper in the upper left hand corner. I go to hand the pages to my client and they were not stapled. At first I thought I ran out of staples, then I thought it was not working. However on close inspection the top sheet had a horizontal hole where the staple went through the paper and on the second page the staple was barely holding on, ready to fall off too.This stapler crushes it on multiple pages, Do not buy for light duty. My humble opinion.

I received my product quickly and really, ahead of time! The product is the color I saw and received. I was really more amazed with the product than expected. I have had so many of the "standard" staplers that I have to "pull together" (The 2 sides) or "slam" my fist down on it to get through the few papers I have. This stapler does just what it says it does: Push down with one finger and it staples up to 25 papers! No stuck staples. No difficulty. I don't have to worry about getting out a staple puller "again" and working on stapling for 10 minutes! This stapler is AWESOME! I take my hat off to the seller for selling a GREAT product. Thanks!

This stapler is sturdy and reliable, but it doesn't work very well for me.I bought it for pinning up flyers on message boards. The staple slot will be opened with the help of a spring, once you pull and straighten the stapler. In this case, every time I open up stapler the staple slot will be opened at the same time. I have to close the lid over the staple slot before I can use it. Sometimes, staples fell out once I straightened the stapler.

A reasonably well made stapler. It's not a tank, so maybe not suitable for environments which are rough on equipment (e.g. classrooms, offices, primate zoo), but will last a careful person a very long time. For me, it was a worthwhile purchase.

At work, I normally staple 8+ sheets together 10 times a day. Sometimes, these "packages" increase to 15+ sheets. In addition, I staple two sheets together perhaps 20 times a day. My hand starts to feel this, using a conventional stapler on a busy day.This stapler, while not exactly "one finger", makes it 20x less effort to staple and I had a big grin on my face every time I stapled the first few days after buying it. It seems almost ridiculous that an office tool would have such a big impact on my work, but it removed one minor annoyance.It's a must have if you do a lot of stapling or have hand/muscle issues. It's built solidly, so it should last a long time, but if the spring breaks one day, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one.The only small issues is that it's easy to knock over when standing upright (so I leave it sitting normally on my desk) and it's quite loud (if that's an issue in a quiet office).
