08-03-2026I have been using Brocato gel for years. It is a light weight gel that strengthens and shapes my wavy, curly hair without sticky residue or flaking. It leaves my hair soft and flexible although dampness and wind can restyle it on those kinds of days. I was sold on Brocato when m fingernails gradually became stronger and less prone to splitting after I'd been using it a while. My hair splits less often too! It has a light scent and works well with my leave-in conditioner.

I would prefer it to be a bit "stiffer" so that when I curl my hair with my large curling iron the curls would be "crunchy." It seems that every time I find a product I like it gets discontinued! Until I discover a better product, this is what I am currently using.
