Premium extra heavy weight double mitt. Extra heavy for extra warmth. Good fitting. 85% wool, 15% nylon outer and 67% acrylic, 23% wool and 10% nylon lining give good fit and warmth.
Very warm for cold weather
They seem very warm. But keep in mind that the size is relative to a full grown man’s hands. Small means small for a full grown man. I got a pair of large ones as a gift for my brother (an average sized guy), thinking they were more of a unisex sizing. I’m short, but the large were almost as long as my forearm!! It was too late to return, so I just gave them to a very, very tall male cousin. However, if you can get the sizing right, they seem quite warm. Not waterproof obviously, but they’ll be great for driving and casual wear in zero/subzero temperatures (upper Midwest)
Very good , thick real wool
warm, and stand up to heavy use. My go to mittens here in Maine.
I have Raynaud's so keeping my hands warm in the midwest winter is often an exercise in futility. It seems that you can either spend $20 on mittens that leave your hands cold or $100 on mittens that work but are not amazing and that you'll inevitably lose. I was all set to order a $100 pair of mittens because I'm not enjoying outdoor life right now. My hands are always cold and in pain. I bought these on a whim and they are GREAT! Just walked my dog for about twenty minutes. My hands stayed warm and toasty. I was wearing three layers of pants, two layers of shirts, a heavy down coat, wool socks and sherpa lined boots so I was dressed very warmly. But still, these worked and they worked well. I immediately came home to write this review and order two more pair. Highly recommend, especially for people who have nerve damage or other health challenges that cause cold hands.
Great quality. Nice looking mittens and very warm. Good fit. Would recommend.
The best mittens. They keep your havds toasty warm. We have been buying theses for years. My husband used to work outside in the winter. The pair he had before he retired just finally gave up, and he had them 2 years before that. They are the best.
These mittens are a winner year after year. My husband and I have used them during our cold and snowy New England winters until they wear out, and then we order another pair. We appreciate the quality and warmth in the midst of the coldest weather, even when they get wet!
The best warm mitten available. It is breathable yet keeps hands warm without sweating. It is not waterproof since it is made out of wool. I have hands that always get cold with finger gloves and most type of mittens, but these are fantastic even when the weather gets down to 0 degrees.
I want to love these but I bought two sizes and the larger pair was wayyyy to big and the smaller pair were wayyyy to small. I thought they were well made and looked cute in a simple way but they just didn't work for me. I am 5'4 with a size small/medium in most winter hiking mitts if that might be helpful.
These are wonderful and thick ! I’m super pleased with them
Best mittens I ever had. They’re flexible. They’re really soft and smooth inside, so the hands slip in and out easily. They keep my hands warm in cold weather.
