Me encanto!! Súper fácil de usar y dura...tengo como un mes que lo use en la bastilla del uniforme de mi hijo y sigue perfecto!!
Hem your item in minutes! Amazing results and no thread showing through! Love this hemming tape!
I used this for a fabric ceiling project. It seems to hold the fabric in place once I got the backing off. At first, I was frustrated and nearly ready to throw it across the room. Instead, I found a way to remove the backing. I cut a strip in my desired length, then stuck only one end onto the roll of tape. I used a pair of tweezers to tease the backing and tape apart. Sometimes, I had to press the tape down and tug at the backing a bit to get it started. Then, I gripped the loosened corner of the backing with the tweezers and attached the tape where I needed it. With the tweezers, I started pulling at the corner, sometimes I had to press the sticky tape against the wall so that it was not tempted to come off too. Once I had a decent bit pulled, I was able to pull the rest with my fingers. The more I worked with it in this manner, the easier it was to use.Perhaps it isn't such a pain for sewing projects, but while working overhead it was awful until I started using the tweezers. If you're having trouble removing the backing, give this method a try.
I bought two rolls of the fabric tape (since it wouldn’t allow me to just buy one), and the first one was great. it was very easy to work with. i mainly bought it to cuff the sleeves of some shirts, and it was great!!however, the second roll was absolute trash. it barely stuck to the fabric, and the backing tape kept ripping as i was trying to peel it off.overall, i like the product and will probably order it again, but it’s terribly inconsistent.
Utilisé pour un ourlet de pantalon, n'a pas supporté le lavage, même à froid
Very stickyWorks so well
I have pants that drag on the ground and I end up stepping on the hems. I bought new shoes that are even lower, so I needed a way to hem my pants without buying a sewing machine or having to hem so many pairs myself. I tried small black safety pins at first even, but they have a puckly look.I turned the pants inside out. Using this tape, I used the safety pins to hold the fabric in place then removed the backing of the tape to tape the hem up. The tape has strong adhesion, and it can be hard to move the hem once you put the fabric together. My pants are a cotton-stretchy black material blend (not jeans). I put the pants in the dryer and let the heat bond the tape as the instructions indicated.I wore my two pairs of pants for a 8 day vacation and came back and washed them. The hem has stayed intact. When I wash them a few more times and when/if the hem comes undone, I will update my review, but in the mean-time, the tape works well.
Excellent product.
Had a patch and I wanted to attach the patch to a cap.....this did exactly that. Firm hold, easy to use with a little precision cutting and sticking. Took about 10 minutes of my day.
So far so good. I used this to hem some curtains and so far it is holding well. It is very sticky and fairly easy to apply. Good price for the size of the roll.
I had the need to change the size of some blankets due to a change in bed size. Have access to a sewing machine but had never worked with something the size of a large blanket. Did not have the confidence not being someone who used a sewing machine with much practice. So thought of going with the fabric glue method. In looking for what products were available, stumbled upon this product. Truth be told, I thought it was too good to be true. Overstated advertising. In practice, it was not overstated in the least, maybe not stated strongly enough that it works, is easy to use, does a great job, and looks as good as a manufactured stitched heam though not stitched. The tape applied easily and straight despite the ease with which a fluffy blanket material can move. Fully satisfied. When I showed my wife my work, she commented how good it looked. She was surprised at the result. Note - I double-folded the heam using two applications of the tape. Apply tape to the first fold. Fold the material again applying a second row of tape on top of the material just tapped, then press together. This leaves two rolled edges, one inside and one out making a great look with no material edge showing. And the use of the blanket shows the strength of the heam requiring no concern for separation. And there is no heating of the product or fabric required, as it fuses with the fabric immediately and to remove will damage the material as it has fused to the material.
great for no sew hems. used these on some yoga pants so they wouldn't drag the floor and its held up through multiple washings. was easy to use and the size was great for the purpose. the tape is reasonably thick to get the job done.
Used this for a dress. Held up well, did not try to wash yet. Only advice is not to use on a seam you are planning to sew, because the adhesive gets stuck on the sewing needle.
