I have a Swingline 94-41 desk stapler that I have had for almost 40 years - it works flawlessly - and it weighs a ton. If you want to use the 94-41 in your hands, it is not a good choice - on the desk it is great. Enter this product the 664XX. It is not even made by Swingline (made by ACCO) but claims to be made to Swingline standards. It is a darn good stapler. It is light weight, you can staple from the desk or while holding it in your hand, the structure gives it amazing leverage. You can store it on its base or on its face. If I am still using it in 40 years I will send in an update, but for the last year, it has been a fine stapler.

Best light weight ergonomic stapler. I use it as a hand stapler and it’s wonderful. It goes through 20+ sheets of paper like a dream.I tried and returned a few staplers before buying this one.I highly recommend the Swingline Optima 25.

I was in a teacher’s classroom and used her stapler a while back - it was like butter. Almost seem electric but it wasn’t. I was looking for that stapler. This one is easy enough- nice soft staple, but I don’t think it was the one I was looking for.

This product requires very little effort to staple papersAlways hold the stapler in the air when using it…..most staplers go bad because they are placed on the table and the user’s body weight is applied to itI have had no issues with itOnce you use this stapler you will never want to use a different kind

Both the staplers in the house broke around the same time. Ahh! Time to panic? No. I'm sure you can get more robust staplers that do 30 or 50 pages. But if you want something that feels well built, with a guarantee not to jam, and has a small footprint on your desk, voila! Here it is. My wife doesn't want me slammin' on hers with my ham fists, so I tricked mine out so we'd know whose was whose. And it came pretty quickly, too. I only gave "Ergonomic" 4 stars because, while it is plenty easy to use, how would I know the difference between one that was or wasn't? It seems like the classic design, to me, although you don't have to bang it as hard.

It's SO nice to have a good stapler again. My old stapler never stapled in the right spot. This one is really nice and does a perfect job. I'm so glad I got it because there are SO many staplers to pick from. This one is a smaller one but it fits good in my hand and staples right where you want it to staple. I highly recommend it. I do a lot of art and crafts and this is just what I wanted and needed.

I bought this for use at work after we broke literally every dollar store stapler we bought in a matter of weeks, and it has lasted over a year with very little issues, and little to no jamming. This stapler is super easy to use, is small enough to be easy to store, and just overall makes the little things easier. The reduced effort advertised is very easy to notice and makes a big difference, especially when stapling on an awkward angle. Despite this stapler's smaller size, it holds a decent amount of staples so you don't need to constantly reload. The only downside of this stapler is that it doesn't really unfold all that much (like if you wanted to staple something to a wall) but, I won't take points away for that since that really isn't it's purpose, and it is so good at everything else that it aims to achieve. Good job little guy!

Is it weird to say I’m in love with a stapler?!Over the last 10 years, my boss has purchased many, MANY staplers, all of which last for maybe a year, but then jam or break too quickly. Then he randomly bought THIS stapler, and it has outlasted quite a few others!Unlike most, this actually has close to a 30-page limit (which is amazing when you’re stapling tax returns all day!) and has a smooth, easy, quiet staple (as opposed to the obnoxiously loud “one touch” versions that practically explode every time you try to staple something, or the ones that need your full body weight to get the staple through 15 pages.)Didn’t think I was a stapler geek, but I bought another one for home use, and now my mum is just as obsessed as me, and she bought one for hEr office! And I love it enough to write a review!Cute. Compact. Super easy to use. QUIET. 10/10: literally the best stapler!…Side note: It use to bother me that you would need to break the strips of staples in half, but I’ve gotten used to it. They do have a larger version that takes full strips, or they sell half-strips of staples. Whichever your preference.Either way, if you were debating on a new stapler, you’ve found it!!

Well, there is not much too say about this item. It's a stapler and it staples. It has a fairly small footprint compared to my original Swingline stapler, which is similar to the Swingline Commercial Desk Stapler (S7044401A).The "light touch" design works as described. It takes about the same amount of effort to staple 20 sheets of paper as it does to staple 2 sheets. I haven't had any issues stapling 20 or so sheets of paper, though the staples do start to bend if I go too much higher than that. However, 20 sheets is the stated capacity of this stapler, so I can't complain about that.It is a compact stapler, so it only takes half strips of staples. So, unless you buy half strips, you will have break all of your existing strips in half so they fit. I don't use a lot of staples in a given day, so this is not an issue for me. However, Swingline does make a full-size version, if you would prefer more capacity (or breaking the strips is just annoying to you).(Swingline PowerEase Reduced Effort Charcoal Stapler (S7087860))In summary, it's a nice little stapler and the reduced effort design performs as described. I definitely prefer this stapler over my others, which is why I purchased two of them (one for home and one for work). However, it is still just a stapler, so I've probably already written too much about it.
