My husband uses his glasses all the time. Everyone asks where he got them. They work well at the reading level he needs.

I'm going to throw in what may be an unpopular opinion here, but these are not quite as "convenient" as they might appear at first.Yes, they work well - no issue with the lens quality or overall craftsmanship. But two things drive me batty:1 - You HAVE to use two hands to put them on or take them off of your face. No way around it. So if you're working with one hand and then decide you need your glasses, you have to let go to put them on. Think carefully how you will use these.2 - When they are on, they fit VERY snug against your face. So no "peeking over" to look at something at a distance, which is how I often use reading glasses (looking down most of the time but then glancing up at something farther away). Again, if you never use reading glasses this way you may have no problem, but these two things keep these from being my favorites. Plus, the look a little dorky hanging around your neck. Obviously some won't mind at all.

Love these readers! Excellent fit and quality. Great idea, they are always handy and never in the way. My old readers were always getting misplaced. If you need readers buy these.

Clic Magnetic Reading Glasses are made with attention to quality. The lenses are fine quality, scrarch resistant, and come in a wide variety of strengths with prescription lenses are available. Because of the built in retainer design, they are rarely misplaced or subject to getting scratches and losing or breakage is avoided. They have an adjustable fit and a powerful rare earth magnet to keep them attached. After more than ten years of using Clics I've only needed to replace a handful of pairs, always through my own negligence. Having an extra pair in a different color is nice for style.Beware of copycat or knock off brands they are not made with the same quality and break easily.

I first saw these glasses about a year ago and finally got around to ordering a pair. I am tired of my glasses falling off my head, my shirt, etc. I don't like wearing readers, but now I have to. As soon as I put them on I want to take them off. Then, when I need glasses I can't remember where I left them. Clic's has resolved all these problems for me. I actually put them on after dressing in the morning. When I don't need them they just rest around my neck. I always know where they are and they never fall off. My only problem is that when I reach for them I sometimes smug the lenses. I'm training myself no to do this. They are study, but not too heavy ... and the lenses are nice and clear. They are comfortable and I wear them every single day ... and, neither of the lenses has popped out. I will be ordering the sunglasses next.

I have had these for 3.5 years now and I have put them through the ringer and holy cow are these great! The worst that has happened to them is the lenses have been fully folded out the opposite direction at no fault to the companies design. It was all my fault due to the work I do. But it doesn't matter anyway because they still work just fine. I'm beginning to think that it is impossible to break these. They are badass and worth every penny!

--> My husband loves them. Instead of hanging around his neck he hangs them on the lamp next to "his TV chair" -- and he hasn't lost them yet (definitely a win).--> Also great for yard work when readers are needed briefly and unpredictably, but often.--> The band prevents the sweat from letting the glasses slide off to the ground. Ao far the magnetic front closure seems to be solid.(Please note that we live in a suburban townhouse -- we don't hike the Himalayan Mountains -- so they're reasonably solid or OTC readers.)--> Having them around the neck prevents one from thinking "I'll just put them here" then think "where the heck are they?" or that awful, telltale "snap!" when they get stepped on. They're just long enough to not be a "choker" and short enough not to dangle in the face if looking down over a lawn mower or garden bed.[PS: We saw a "treehouse show" on Animal Planet and many of those workers use them when working with carpentry tools and when they work suspended in the air. It's a pretty good idea.]

CliC Adjustable Front Connect Reader

Unique patented neodymium magnetic system allows the glasses to come together at the bridge. The head band is form-fitting and wraps around your head to ensure a snug, comfortable fit. Putting them on is simple. Just place the band around your head and let the magnets draw together at the bridge. Want to take them off? No problem. Just pull the magnets apart and the glasses will hang comfortably around your neck. That way you know exactly where they are when you need them again.
