THIS IS THE VERY BEST KIND OF STAPLER EVER MADE. I LIKE THIS KIND OF STAPLER COMPARED TO ANY OTHER KIND OF STAPLER CAUSE THIS ONE IS SO STRONG & SO STURDY & STAPLES RIGHT THRU A BUNCH OF PAPERS WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS. NOW THIS IS THE ONLY KIND OF STAPLER I USE ALL THE TIME.
High quality and perfect
I can confirm that this works for about 40 pages. I did mistakenly buy SF-4 staples instead of the recommended kind, and I don't notice a functional difference. Stapling performance is excellent when you use about 15-20 sheets, and once you get close to the capacity then it's not a perfect staple but it holds the paper together well. It's easy to use, although it took me a second to figure out how to pop open the staple compartment (there's a button on the back to release it).I think the design is just ok. It doesn't look like a sleek stapler, but to me the functionality is more important.
I grew up with office staplers made in the middle of the 20th Century and found them to durable and reliable. Recently I've bought staplers that jammed and fell apart after only a few weeks, even days, of use. I bought this Swingline Optima 40 with great hope. It just arrived and so far feel like it will do quite well. It feels sturdy and well built. It is heavier than many others I've tried, but the added weight is probably an indication of durability and quality. It staples a dozen or so sheets quite well. I've not yet gone for the rated 40, but I expect it will do that with ease. I loaded it with the recommended staples for which it is designed: Swingline Premium Optima Staples (#35556). Frankly I surmise the complaints about this stapler stem from using other than the specified staples; please use the staples it's designed for even though there are cheaper staples that will cause problems. The anvil forms a "flat clinch" staple; this eliminated the rounded bulge created by most staplers. When you stack a number of documents stapled in the upper left using a rounded clinch for example, the whole stack bulges up at that corner and is hard to sort and distribute. With the flat clinch anvil of this Swingline Optima 40 stapler there is very little added rise to the corner. I didn't know about this feature until I received and tried the stapler; I like it. Just remember to buy and use the specified staples.
Das Gerät funktioniert. Ich nutze den Tacker mit Nadeln, die ich noch hier hatte. Das funktioniert auch.
This stapler is heavy-duty and very sturdy. It handles up to a lot of sheets easily and feels solid in hand. A reliable choice for both home and office use.
Not the size I wanted but a good productHad to send it back
It’s sturdy. Works great! I’ve had it 4 years and hasn’t stopped working. I bought another one because everyone keeps taking it.
I have one at work, and now the same one at home. Only gripe is that it doesn't quite take a full clip of staples, have to break ~10 off. Love this stapler almost as much Milton loves his red swingline in office space.
Good looking, work well
Essential when you need to staple a large stack of documents. Does the job when smaller staplers fail.
