Worked great for a little while.
Wosrt ever. Broke after one use. Would never buy again. So disappointed and dissatisfied. Kids so bummed out and sad
Danger: If you buy these, you will end up having to buy additional sets to keep up with demand. We started with one set, but everybody wanted to play with them, so had to buy more. This is by far the most popular pool toy we've had for the last five years. You stick one end in the pool, pull back on the plunger and the push on the plunger to shoot a powerful stream of water. The package says it will go 45 feet, which I think is a bit of an exaggeration, but not too much. Thirty feet for sure, though. The power of the stream means you'll have to keep it away from those who can't be trusted not to shoot in others' faces. But as long as that's avoided, you can shoot other people with it without hurting them. It's also a lot of fun to shoot water up in the air and have it rain down. The launchers are colorful and seem to be sturdy and well made. They are foam padded, which makes them float, too. A well-thought-out feature for a pool toy.If you don't have a pool, this is still a good yard toy. Just have a big bucket of water on hand to fill them up from and use them for spraying each other or targets in the yard. They're a good way to have fun and cool off in this brutal summer weather we've been having.
My grandson and great nephew love these they play together frequently so I bought a set for each of them. Be sure to unlock, by twisting at the handle, we originally thought they came broke but was easily figured out. I am not sure if that was explained on the package because I did not read it, perhaps I could have prevented a small breakdown if I had read the packaging!!!!
Grandbabies love these! They shoot pretty far! The only problem I have is that they can be a little difficult for smaller kids to shoot; once a few grains of sand get inside they are hard to shoot. It takes a lot of rinsing out by the adults to get them to loosen up again before the kiddos can shoot them with ease. Fun toy, worth the money!
Got these for grandkids aged 6 and 8. They worked great at home when they were using them at the pool. Then...we went to the lake that has a sandy beach. The sand got inside the launchers and within minutes the plungers would not move anymore rendering them useless. I do not fault the product but do blame myself for skipping over the part in the description that says "use with clean water source." Before the sand the kids really enjoyed them tho.
I bought these for my boys, ages 11 & 8, and they love them. They're always looking for fun ways to battle eachother and this certainly fits the bill - harmlessly. They are easy to fill and launch. And even though I had no option of choosing the colors, I lucked out with the basic primary colors (no pink for me) and they each picked one without argument.I don't think they would be good for children younger than 8 because once opened up, they may be too long for their arm span; and I don't think they would have good control over it.All in all, a good product. I recommend it (and I already have).
Great little toy, does well in the backyard / pool but should not be taken to the beach, once sand gets into the tube they don't spray quite as far.All in all a really good buy.
