Does what it needs to do, my skin was left smooth without irritation. This device is very affordable light and compact. This shaver takes two triple A batteries that is not included. It also comes with a guard to cover the blade for when it's not in use.
Small, easy to use, does a great job ! Love my little razor
I was a little skeptical when I bought this product, but I am very impressed. The battery life is long, and is easy to put new batteries in. The razor works great. You can use it either dry or wet. No pain when shaving legs and under arms. Great product
I thought this would be a more convenient solution to have on hand. It was alright the first couple times on my underarms. Slow but worked. But it went downhill from there and stopped getting literally anything. I would rinse it, shake it, and leave it to dry, but it began rusting. I've never had a shaver do that. I ended up trashing it because it was literally worthless.
Okay, so yes. The pics show my real legs. I have osteoarthritis and it's been difficult to shave in the shower since it takes so much out of me just to do the normal shower things - washing my hair and body. I'm not able to put one leg up on the side of the tub, shave, and then take care of the other leg. I tried that out of pure determination and pride....and fell. I had something I'd sit on, but it's seemed to have walked off somewhere. So, it's been about a month since I last shaved my legs since I literally couldn't. We bought a few things that are arriving soon that will assist me in making things easier, but before these arrive, I purchased an electric wet/dry razor because I couldn't take it anymore. This is real life, people. No Photoshop, glamour, high society lifestyle here. Just a mom who deals with an unforgiving arthritic disease that only gets worse and has no cure. With that being said....This wet/dry electric razor is amazing. I had one a few years back and it got lost in our move. Then the world shut down (thanks covid) and I couldn't find another one. We moved into a place where I was able to get around easier, and have an easier time taking a shower. I'm in my 30's, so is it a pride thing for me? Ehh...a little. Nothing like going from taking care of others to needing some assistance yourself.. but so life goes. This past month, I've dealt with a series of up's and downs with my health. More downs than up's, which has resulted in my inability to shave my legs routinely like I'd like to do. Hours were cut. Days were shortened. Money became tighter and tighter. This is real life for a lot of people. Things finally started to look up after the beginning of the year, so I began looking for some things that would make life a bit easier for me. There are women out there who choose to not shave. That is a personal preference. For me, however, I want to and I feel better after doing so. Entering stage left: PalmPerfect Wet/Dry Electric Razor.I paid for overnight shipping. $2.99 was well worth it to me. It arrived quickly and packaged well. Immediately, I opened the package and insert the batteries. This little thing is powerful. Small, but mighty. Fits in your hand perfectly and has the fortitude and strength to power through the toughest jobs. (See pics ) Side note: it sounds like a vibrator. If you're looking for "quiet", this isn't it.After turning it on, I gave a short sigh, and started at my ankle. WOW. I couldn't believe how well this worked! The amount of time it took to shave both my legs was considerably less than how long it would have taken me in the shower. My legs are smooth. Like...truly smooth. I put some lotion on and it felt almost like shaving with my razor. If you're looking for something for a tween/teen, for yourself for on the go or if you're in a situation like myself where you're unable to shave in the shower on a normal basis, this is one I'd go with. I'll never buy a different one (unless I find one that's absolutely better than this, with ease of use, shaves extremely well, and DOES NOT CUT the skin, like this one). For $10, you can't go wrong.
I got this for my husband, who has Parkinsons. We tried pricier shavers but this is simple and so easy to use. One star down because it stopped working after 10 months (batteries were fine). On the other hand, for $10/year - if that's what it takes - it's a better deal than a $60 unit we can't figure out how to use. The oddity is that I had the EXACT unit in my drawer, 30 years old, rarely used, and it works fine. So I guess we have a spare.
It is a good little razor and actually bought one for my daughter to teach her how to shave her legs. My only issues are how noisy it is and how quickly the batteries run down. Otherwise it is a good little tool for teaching.
for the price, can't beat it! Does a good job, battery operated so no need to worry about recharging (especially when traveling), and head snaps off to clean. Sometimes when you put the head back on, if you do not line it up properly it does not work, but just adjust the positions of the head and base to meet, and it should be fine. I also tied the cord into a tight knot so it does not get tangled in the blades. I have a few of these now, one for the house, one for the suitcase, and a spare. At this price even having 6 is cheaper than one rechargeable and the batteries seem to last well in this. I hope this item continues to be available for as long as I need one!additional review-several months of good service and then sporadic periods when it does not work, Changed batteries, cleaned thoroughly, replaced head many times and sometimes the connection worked well and other times no proper contact so no shaver. Fine for use as backup but would not depend on it. New one I had bought works perfectly so I can see the difference. I think after a few months of light use it just is not like new. Cleaning makes no difference. I bought a rechargeable one and will see how that works out. I got a 5 star rated one so hopefully it will be good!
I used this last night, dry, and it works great! Love the little rope handle for handing it up. Nice and compact.
doesn’t work this device doesn’t work it’s working only when the above part removed but when I return the Above part doesn’t work this is the second time I purchase a similar device , but disappointed because the new one its not working properly
My tween needed to learn to shave her legs and this was an easy way to start! I took her out on the balcony and she learned in 5 seconds. Now she can do it after her bath.
Battery life rubbish use once batteries need replacing
