The first level of trays have clear snap top lids that can be accessed without opening the entire box while the lower level features a large storage section that’s perfect for holding bigger items like tools - it has a spot for everything you need to keep organized It’s an excellent multi-purpose storage box that’s perfect for everything from tools, hardware like nails, screws and bolts, to fishing tackle, beads, jewelry, hobby and craft supplies!
Tool box is made of stainless steel and plastic which is simple and firm. Also contains three layers of tool storage. This tool box contains trays and organizers as well. It's a convenient size for many different tools.
Arrived just like the picture. It is not easy to keep closed and the bottom "drawer" on one side was bent out. Otherwise, it was just what I need to put my oil painting supplies in. I would have preferred a hinge of sorts to "lock" the top of it together.
I ordered this toolbox as a companion for the stackable set and I like them both very much ... They look good and I think they will be perfect for hauling my RC tools and parts around the countryside.
Love the storage & style for compartments. One hodge pin was broken but nothing to mention.
This does exactly what I wanted it to. I can put my long sockets in the top trays and all of my other tools in the bottom. It works great
I love that this toolbox has several cantilevered sections. My old toolbox was just one large space, making it impossible for me to find anything. The number of sections makes it possible for me to thoroughly organize everything.
I maintain aircraft and work out of a small box almost daily. After hauling around a well loved cantilever style Flambeau plastic tool box for the last 15 years, it was time to upgrade. This box is great in theory but I was unhappy with the access to the middle trays and the bottom. Access to both is hampered by the trays above them. The clear plastic lids aren't too impressive either, but do give a clear view of the contents. I returned this and will keep looking.
The design on this is nice. But the construction quality all wrong. What should be plastic is metal and what should be metal is plastic. The frame which carries the load is plastic and so are the moving cantilevers (Not even high quality plastic). The trays are a light aluminum. Plastic looses strength when it moves and flexes so the frame and moving cantilevers need to be metal. The trays don't move so they should have been made of good quality plastic to keep weight and cost down. The handle is metal. It needs to be metal with a rubber grip. Ever hold metal when it is 80F or 20F. Yes plastic can get hot or cold too. But not as bad as metal.Go back to the drawing board guys. The way I've described it, your cost will be the same, manufacturing will be easier, and your quality will go up.
This toolbox is a DREAM and everything I was looking for. Most toolboxes can't sort sockets or handle several pliers with easy access. I also like that I don't have to unlock 2-3 latches to open it. It could be improved with a safety mechanism on the handles. Something that prevented it from opening if both handles are closed. It is possible to grab one of them and dump one side of the toolbox.
