These handy Akro-Mils plastic toolboxes are ideal for storing small hardware and hand tools, arts and crafts supplies, and more. Its metal lock-tight latch won't pop open, making it great for traveling and easy to carry with a comfortable handle. Create a manicure supplies organizer box. Organize toys, supplies, or snacks to take with you on car trips. Perfect for creating a Grab-and-Go-Box for emergency supplies, such as a first aid kit. Teachers organize your classroom with school supplies.
cool box, its just the right size to store my smaller sized buffing pads and a few other detailing items, Im happy with it and the price was right, no big deal for me, but the clasp lock was loose in the box, I just had to snap it into place, not sure of theyre shipped like that or it slipped out during transport, no big deal as its so easy to put back it comes with a lift out tray, I wont use it for my items, but it will come in handy for organizing smaller items , it feels more sturdy once its locked , good job on this buy!
Great box for medication as tall enough all the bottles stand upright
Love it! This case fits all my sewing notions and has room for more. The top tray fits my threads, and the bottom area fits everything else. It has a good quality latch to close it, the plastic doesn't feel cheep or flimsy, and the handle feels nice when carried. Lovely product!
I use it to store the ratchet straps and tools in my Ute. Good little tool box for the price.
Nice designed and good quality.
Great tool box to attach to your zero turn lawnmower. Keeps you from walking back to your pole barn for tools.
Good strong tool box that I am using as a storage for my toiletries item.
Overall, it's a reasonable small toolbox. Plenty of capacity, seems well built. Akro-Mills tends to build solid stuff. Don't know how durable this will turn out to be, but the latch is metal, not plastic, and I fond no "living hinges", so it bodes well for durability. That's the good stuff out of the way. I wanted a toolbox with a tray, for the little stuff that doesn't need to rattle around in the bottom with the heavier tools. This is one of the few smaller toolboxes I could find, with a removable tray...which, unfortunately, has a large hole in its center. Now, I understand why that hole has to be there...it's a consequence of the molding process they used to make it. That is a reason, but not an excuse, for this abysmally poor design. As I expected, the slight lip around the hole in the tray does not prevent objects in it from falling down into the main tool box at the slightest jolt. After a day of this, I glued up a better tray, without a hole in the middle, out of 1/4" plywood. It took me an hour, cost me nothing, because I used a small scrap I had on hand, and it works far better than Akro-Mills' abysmal attempt.I would encourage Akro-Mills to redesign that tray. Because it's pretty useless as storage for smaller items as it is. Other than that, this is a great toolbox for the price.
Dont know why finding an affordable large red box made of durable material is so hard.If i got a first aid box it would be 50 bucks for the size i wantedThis is perfect. Im adhd, object permanence is a daily struggle. When i injure myself i am always running around the house looking for things. Remembering the place it last out them in a need, but not remembering where i put them after the need had passed. So i wanted a first aid kit on my bathroom where i could see it. Bright red, hard to miss, not under a sink or in a cupboard or in a closet. Not under anything, behind anything, covered by something. I wanted it visible at all times. This wasn't cheap, but it was affordable, decent size durable bright red and very visible. Highly recommend!
I have three of these toolboxes and they are very well made. I use them for heavier tools, drill bits, and other stuff and they have held up well. I don't know why more companies won't offer clear toolboxes. The plastic is not completely clear, but you can still pretty much tell what's in the toolbox without having to open it. Being clear also makes it easier to see and find the smaller pieces since it lets in more light. The size is okay for smaller tools but could use a bit bigger option with dual metal latches, just in case someone from Akro-Mils is reading this... :-)
I love this cute little toolbox. Holds everything and tucks perfectly on the shelf for easy access.
This box can be used for a variety of your storage and organizational needs! I was looking for a tool-box style clear organizer and storage case/box, larger sized, durable, and reasonably priced. I saw many similar boxes, but most were too small and/or not clear plastic and over-priced. This box works great for storing & organizing my limited sewing supplies and seems pretty sturdy. Handle seems well attached and easy to hold, plastic of box is a good thickness, and it has a metal clasp closure instead of those cheap, often unreliable plastic closures! The $20 price tag I feel is a little on the high side, but better than some others. My main complaint is this is the largest of this specific kind of box that I could find here, and I do need more room inside the box: an inch or two taller, wider, and longer would make this even more functional and versatile box! -Please see my collaged photo of this product (with ruler for sizing)-
I have used this tool box at home for a first aid box and had a similar one at work (in a Hospital) for storing emergency equipment. For both situations, this tool box has done its job well.It is a good size for a pretty comprehensive first aid box for a family at home. I like regular first aid kits too, but I like to add a lot of specific items that might be useful for me or my family in an emergency that are not commonly found in regular first aid kits. This tool box replaced an old shoe box that I was using for my first aid kit and I think it is a significant upgrade both cosmetically and functionally. While it is somewhat bigger than the shoe box that I was using as a first aid kit, the tray in the top helps it hold a bunch more stuff overall. When I used one of these at work, it was able to hold some small but heavy equipment and disposable supplies for that equipment, tolerating being wiped down with Hospital wipes over and over again without the plastic degrading over the years, and not breaking with the load it had in it or from the occasional rough handling it was subjected to.If what you want to put in a tool box will fit inside this one, I think it is worth considering. I have found it to be handy, well constructed, and durable.
