It is very convenient as you add water and it's a done deal. Either hot or cold, tastes great. But I would rather say, it is very sweet (I taste a lot of honey* flavor)If you like sweet and creamy tea, go for it. But if you're more like me who likes taste of black tea, this tea mix is just too sweet with weak tea flavor. I would rather brew my own strong tea and add milk and boba and sugar.Give it a try, this tea mix just was not for me :P

This is an excellent black milk tea mix that allows you to prepare the sweet and rich drink at home. It's also a much more affordable option than going out to a local Asian beverage chain to buy these. The directions are not too detailed on the package, but you mix in this powder (I use 40-60g scoop per 24-30 oz of water) with warm to hot water in a pot. You stir the mix in the water until it liquefies. Since I like my drink cold, I put the nonstick pot on top of an ice pack from my freezer. It takes 5-10 minutes for it to cool down and then I pour it into a plastic cup filled with ice. Since I do not use boba or bubble tapioca flour balls, I use a regular straw to sip.The taste is very rich and smooth, very much like the beverages you'd buy at your local Asian tea shop. Keep in mind most of these tea shop chains, especially the one with the smiling sunflower as the logo, use mixes and do not make these from "scratch" using condensed milk, tea, and sugar. The aforementioned chain even distributes these powder mixes and boba balls to independent tea shops that sell milk tea. This item is available at certain supermarkets for slightly less than it is here, but I haven't tried looking for it at the local Chinese supermarket. Even at Amazon's prices, this is still worthwhile compared to buying these at $3-4/cup at local milk tea beverage locations.

The Greenmax Boba Milk Tea Powder is fantastic! It has a rich, authentic black tea flavor, and the perfect level of creaminess, making it taste just like the boba milk tea you get from your favorite shop. It’s super easy to make at home—just mix it with hot water and enjoy. The 24.5-ounce size is great for making multiple servings, so it lasts a while. If you're a fan of boba milk tea and want to enjoy it anytime without leaving home, this is an excellent choice. Highly recommend it for any milk tea lover!

The only boba drink I used to enjoy is a malted milk black tea at my favorite bubble tea house. Then I moved across the country for work, and missed having it...Well, this powder can easily reproduce the flavor of my favorite drink--when used properly and paired with the right ingredients! It tastes nearly identical to the drink I enjoy on the west coast. Here's my recipe:4 Tablespoons milk tea powder2 Tablespoons malted milk powderenough hot water to mix with the powdersfreshly boiled boba (about 1/4 cup)ice cold watersplash of fresh milklots of iceJust get the boba boiling (follow the boba directions) and take a little of the water, mix it with your malted milk and milk tea powders in a large glass (about 20 oz). When the boba is done, put it in a bowl with a Tablespoon of the milk tea powder and 1/2 Tablespoon of malted milk powder to give it some flavor. Put about 1/3 cup of cold water in the malted milk tea mix glass, then put a handful of ice and cool the tea. Add the boba. Add a splash of fresh milk (I've tried it without, the milk does still make a difference) and maybe a bit more water to fill the glass. Stir it all up so the boba chills.Of course, adjust it to YOUR taste, but this is how I like my boba, and this tea is PERFECT for it!Enjoy :)

I wanted to try this milk tea and figured it would be cost efficient. The taste is a bit bland, but helps to add some sugar. I normally get royal milk tea and I will say I will most likely stick to that one in the future.

At first, the tea flavor tasted weak to me. I left it alone for a while . I didn’t want it to go to waste so I made myself start drinking it regularly. I really started to like it more. Now I drink it almost daily. I didn’t think much of it at first, but now I really like it and look forward to it. I decided to buy some more because I look forward to my morning milk tea. I am trying to limit my coffee intake due to acid reflux. So happy I decided to give it another shot.

I make homemade Boba and need the milk tea powder. Since we like Assam, we chose this flavor and it was a good bag that lasted. It tastes good and sometimes even if I dont make boba, I use this powder just to make hot tea. We've order this twice and will be ordering again.
