This product is heavier than Killer Curls product. But this is better for managing frizz & gives better texture to heavier curly hair. Just put it in damp hair & let air dry. Then perfect curls that are not stiff & crunchy. Have used this line of products for years. Very happy

A hair stylist I recently went to see suggested this product. She'd given me a cut that left the side-wings of my thick, wavy, layered hair, too long. It looked good when my hair was wet because I could easily tuck the wings behind my ears, but once it dried it was too puffy. So I'd asked her to recommend something to keep my hair looking the way it does when it's wet... tame and tight, and she suggested Motion Lotion. I gave it a try... several times. In general, I don't like the feel of products on my hair, and that was the case with this one. It wasn't bad, just not natural, and it didn't give my hair the look I wanted - it didn't keep my hair tight. Also, since I only wanted it for the back and sides (not the top), when I wet my hair in the morning to reset it between washes, the product would end up on the top - adding more body and some curl where I didn't want or need it. If you want this for additional all-over body/volume and curl enhancement, and are in the habit of washing your hair daily, and don't mind the feel of a little product on your hair, then you might like this one... a little seems to go a long way.

Sister's hair person recommended and I have been using it ever since. Works great on coarse curly hair for a lighter hold. Hair care line products are great.

My curly hair gets frizzy and I have to use a lot of product but after my hairdresser used this one product on my hair, my curls were amazing and soft and light. I found it on Amazon and ordered it right away.

It WORKS! I've nearly given up finding something to smooth and enhance my waves. Enter Kevin Murphy Motion Lotion. Not gonna lie - It STINKS. I was SO disappointed when I removed the seal and got a whiff. No offense to those who like this sort of smell, but it makes me think of old-school-expensive-perfume that you smell two aisles away in a store and gag and hold your breath until you can get far enough away. BUT I tried it anyway - on day 3 after wash day no less!Too impatient to wait till wash day, I dampened my hair with a mister and applied a small amount, brushing through with a denman brush. The more I scrunched the more waves kept forming! The texture felt soft instead of like straw! I have fine, 2a/2c low porosity hair that gets frizzy and dry and I have a difficult time getting it to form nice, defined wave sections. It usually ends up looking like a string mess or frizzy and dry if I brush or comb and use hairspray. I was very encouraged by my first use. I can't wait to try it on wash day. Maybe I'll come back and update.It appears to work well enough that I plan to keep using it in spite of the smell. I actually wondered about adding a few drops of essential oil to the bottle to try and mask the nasty odor, but that's probably not a good idea.

Ottimo prodotto per i capelli ricci permanentati.Il ricciolo rimane morbido ma nello stesso tempo elastico ,ben definito e strutturato.Fra tutti i prodotti simili sia professionali che da supermercato,è senza dubbio il migliore che abbia provato.Prima lo trovavo dal mio parrucchiere,poi non l'ha più tenuto per problemi di ordine tecnico e fortunatamente l'ho reperito su Amazon.

I have a friend with curly hair who recommended I try this for my wavy/curly hair. WOW!!! LOVE it! There is a learning curve as I've used too much & my hair is greasy, I've used too little & can't really tell its in there. I started mixing it in the palm of my hand with a bit of my favorite hair gel & it's the perfect combination for a fantastic hair day. I no longer need my hair mousse. Makes travel easy as I could now get away with just this one product versus the 3-4 I was using with subpar results. No more stuff crunchy hair- yae!!Also- I had an issue with the company who shipped the product. Their customer service was extraordinary & they exceeded my expectations dealing with my issues- 10 stars for them!!I also can tell you their price is very fair.

I have fine wavy hair, and this product is perfect for enhancing my natural waves.I use this product on damp hair buy twisting and scrunching it in. I also use on dry hair if I want to give it some more life. I really recommend checking out Kevin Murphy site for tutorials on how to use this product.It is extremely light weight and fast absorbing, it feels like I have no product in my hair. It also works as a sunscreen for your hair, so perfect for damaged hair.It has quite an earthy smell that I like but may not be everyones cup of tea but I think the smell is down to the products natural ingredients.I recommend this to anyone with wavy/curly hair.

Now this is WOW for the wavy haired or curly...shapes the curl just right and can comb through and just use a very small amount...sometimes it pays to buy the best and this is that sometimes!!

I like how this product keeps my curls without the wet/crunchy look (like Killer Curls), but when first applied, the smell is just awful….to me…(a stinky chemical smell). Thank goodness the smell dissipates after it dries! Because of that, I’ll keep using it.
