If you like a watch to have a little heft, this isn’t for you . EXTREMELY light . Watch itself is beautiful but the “leather” strap is absolute crap. Says strap is made in China and feels more like plastic because I think it has a plastic coating on it.This is just my first impression.I like it, but I’m not in love, mainly because of the strap, which has left me feeling kind of disappointed overall . Haven’t had it long enough to be able to rate accuracy or know if it’s water proof . I DO like the look of it tho!UPDATE!!! It’s May and I have to say I’ve fallen in love with this watch . I love the simplicity and classic style of it . I don’t even mind the strap anymore.IT REALLY GREW ON ME ! It’s my go to favorite now. I’ve had it since January and it’s kept perfect time! Extremely accurate Second update . It’s December 2023 and the watch is still my favorite! Got a beautiful new strap and I’ve added a photo showing it . Keeps perfect time and original battery is still going . I do see the price has risen . It was $140 when I bought it but I can’t recommend this watch enough !Feb. 2024 , original battery still working and watch still keeps perfect time!I’m just noticing as it becomes more and more popular, the price has risen substantially.

It’s an attractive watch at a good price but looks smaller than I expected it to be on my wrist and I’m not a big guy.

I like the size and weight. It fits comfortably on my 8" wrist and has a classic elegant appearance. I noticed in the information about the watch that it is mentioned that the watch is made in China. That is incorrect. The watch movement is made in Japan and the band is made in China. That is stated on the small clear sticker on the back of the watch. Overall I am quite pleased with this purchase.I've now read some of the more current reviews of this watch. I haven't got a clue what these complainers are talking about. The watch is the right size as described and the weight is correct for a quartz watch. The band is embossed leather the same as on my Omega and my Hamilton. Do some folks just get a thrill out of unwarranted complaining.

Purchased this for my college aged son and he absolutely loves it. It is a classic design that can be dressed up with a suit or can be casual with jeans. It’s lightweight, but doesn’t look it. The leather strap is beautiful. It’s an excellent time piece that is a great value, looks classy and Bulova is a well made watch brand thats been around for years. I’m very happy with my purchase and highly recommend to others.
