Product Description
This recessed TV box is specifically designed for helping organize wires for TVs and stereos. Most electrical boxes are made for low voltage, or high voltage, but this box has both! It allows you to mount LCD and plasma TV's flush against the wall. It provides a secure installation, with good looks. The textured trim plate is included and paintable to cover edges of cut drywall. It uses sturdy wing mounts that automatically flip into place to tighten to the wall. it can be used with walls up to 1-1/2-inch thick. There's no wobble once the box is installed. It also comes with an outlet and scoop plate to get you started. Arlington fittings are carefully inspected and our manufacturing process is designed to prevent the possibility of a defective product leaving our plant. In the event any of our products are found to be defective, we will replace them with new product free of charge. The time limit for this warranty is one year following the date of sale or one year after the date of installation, whichever is the earlier date. This warranty does not apply when the product is used for any purpose other than the intended use as described in the Arlington literature. This warranty does not apply when the product is used for any installation which would violate the national electrical code or any code which takes precedence in a particular jurisdiction. Labor is not included.

08-03-2026Needed an dual gang outlet that had a physical separation between the outlet and the TV cable wires. This is required by "code". This Arlington box was perfect and met all needs. Home Depot sells the dual gang box but you can't get the separators. It's a nice recessed outlet. Comes with a template so that you know exactly how big to cut the hole in your wall. The only thing I didn't like (hence the 4star review) was that the screws used to attach the physical outlet to the box were a bit difficult to screw in. Not sure why. Might be because your screwing into plastic. It was weird - I admit. Actually broke the head off on the first screw.

08-03-2026Used this in the bedroom to hide the Video cables in the wall. Has a nice template for the whole size needed. It is a little on the large size which work in my favor to extract the old J-box out from its home from the last 40 years. The only thing i felt it was lacking was another grommet for the punch out on the high voltage j box. i had to cram 3 cables through it so they might not have fit anyways. Would recommend!

08-03-2026Instructions were simple. I needed this for ethernet so ethernet wires wouldn't protrude through my movie screen. This recessed box solved my problem. I can now continue to build my Man Cave.

08-03-2026I have bought several of these, and they are truly what the dr ordered. I have been mounting them behind our wall mounted TVs. It allows you to plug in the tv cords and let them bend enough inside the recess space. It gives you a double gang box for having both the electrical outlet and any other outlet that you want.This will fit any decora type of double faceplate. I got one with the Keystone square holes in it. Well one side was keystone and the other was for the plug. The electric plug can be replaced with a square decora style outlet that has surge protection build into it. And the keystone site can be used for cable, Ethernet, etc.Very versatile.

Using box plate as template, mark location and cut hole.
