08-03-2026The line is good but the spool is not made for putting line on a spinning reel properly. There are notches on both ends of the spool lip and it makes spooling spinning reels difficult. I like the line but will not buy it online again because of the spool.

08-03-2026I love the 12 LB test. So far doesn't hold memory, casts great and strong as it is rated for. Don't expect it to be rated for 12 LB but equal to 17 LB. For those wanting 17 or another LB rating they should buy that LB test line. I have seen lines reviewed by people that were only comparing different brands rated at the same LB test rating but did not actually compare the actual breaking tensile strength of the lines to see that the one they thought was better actually had a breaking tensile strength much higher than it was rated for.

08-03-2026I use this line on my ice fishing rigs as well as my ultra-lite crappie pole and my shad fishing rig. The line is very strong for 4lb test! I reeled up a 6lb largemouth through the ice with it no problem!... it casts well and has very little line memory/coil as compared to mono line. I would highly recommend!

08-03-2026Good line for the price.. Im not sure how to correctly hold it while putting on my reels. I just placed it onto the ground. But used it yesterday and worked fine.. held up great.. no fish thou.. :(
