The bottom of the earring hits about mid neck so a great length. Bought something similar in silver for $100 and returned because I found these in gold for just $40 more. I did shop around and these won out just wished they came in rose gold also!

They often grow over a bit and I needed something thin, like wires and I needed actual gold or the piercings will get infected and these were perfect.I bought the smallest size and they were very easy to put in and they are easy to close and are very secure. Best of all, they are so comfortable I can wear them all of the time- even when I sleep. I definitely recommend.

They snap securely into the back so you feel assured that they won't fall out. I like that they are kind of thick, which makes the earrings feel substantial and don't look overly dainty or delicate in the ears.Updated 8/13/15:These are exactly as they were when I first purchased them. They have not deteriorated in any way at all and I wear them quite often.
