This SelfTie bowtie has a neckband that goes around the neck with a T-bar slit at end to hold it in place. The neck size for this Self Tie bow tie is 14 inches to 20 inches (~ 36 to 51 cm) The 100% polyester ("SILK-feel") self-tie bowtie is 2.75 inches (~7 cm) high at the edges. 08-03-2026This was my first foray into the realm of self-tie bowties, so I wasn't sure what to expect. When the tie arrived (very promptly, I might add, just four days after the order was placed), it was nicely packed and packaged, and upon opening, I found a very well-made tie. No dangling threads, no misaligned seams, fabric appears to be of good quality (it certainly feels good), no flaws or blemishes that I could find. Considering that I could have spent several times the cost of this tie on another one bearing some designer's name, and not being conversant enough with this style tie to realize or appreciate the differences, this was money VERY well-spent. Thoroughly recommend this tie and give the company high marks for quality and service.

08-03-2026It was much larger than I thought. This makes it more difficult to tie. The materiel contributes to that as well. Don't scrimp. If you plan to wear it often, go with silk. This is fine for a seldom used item.
