I’ve had the stapler for 2 weeks and I find the staples jam a lot. It will not staple more than 4 pieces of paper together.I’m hoping it loosens up a bit as I use it more.I've had this more than a month now and it is completely useless. The staples jam every time! complete garbage

It's sturdy. It's well made. It's interesting and different and adds some pizzazz to a desktop. It stands up so you can staple by holding it in the grip of your hand. Or it lies down so you can use it in the same way you use a conventional stapler. It takes standard size staples. It's got gray rubber gripping surfaces on both sides. Using it as a one-hander to to do some serious repetitive squeeze-stapling can strengthen your hand (or leave it aching if you do too much too soon). I can tell pretty much by looking at it that it'll likely hold up a whole lot longer than that cute little pink and orange Swingline Tot Stapler I bought recently that called it quits after only about 30 days, but left me with a good stash of leftover bright green staples that work just fine in this one. (This one doesn't come with staples.)

I work at a very busy government facility. We don't use the stake constantly throughout the day, mainly end of day reports. We were constantly having issues with the standard issue staplers, several of us would wander around trying to find a stapler that works. I bought one of these for the primary location about five years ago. It has been the go-to stapler, as the others would break after a handful of months. It recently disappeared, and we found in the upper management office. Of course we stole it back, it is my property after all. I don't usually invest my own money for communal items at work, but it's been worth it. This month I actually bought two more for work, and everyone is so pleased to have three working staplers in our area. I did put my name on them now so other departments keep their mitts off. They can steal the crappy ones that are government property.

True story--I am a school librarian at one of the largest schools in the North East. On average we go through 10 staplers each school year, as students (mostly boys) like to pound their fists (or so it seems to me) on standard staplers rather than simply "press down" lightly. That said, I decided to try a new stapler this year -- a stand up stapler that you could not pound to staple your term paper -- and guess what -- it worked!I was determined to get a stapler for my school library that would do the job I asked of it.I knew beyond any doubt that I wanted to invest in a high quality stapler that would not try my patience and would staple several sheets of paper together with no problem for my students and their term papers. I bought this stapler over one and one-half years ago and it has never failed to staple as required. It has stapled papers for over 2,000 students. Not only is it good looking but it is a seriously good stapler; both style and substance! Who could ask for anything more?I highly recommend this stapler as an excellent long-term investment in good performance and user satisfaction!

So back in the day when I had an accounting job in a property management company stapling hundreds of pages a month, I had this stapler and I loved it! I had to leave the stapler behind when I left that job. :o( Fast forward 15 years...I was in the market for a new stapler for my house. Imagine my surprise and excitement when I saw they still made this one. LOVE IT LOVE IT! Is a great stapler for home OR work. Will shine at your work place if you are a staple fiend. Enjoy it, I shall name mine Stanley!

disappointing. The stapler is defective as the end of the staple comes through to the front of the paper and can poke you. not smooth where the staple is
