Great tasting. No Gum added so no “soapy” after taste. However, be aware that cans do arrive dented on occasion.

Update: 06/15/2019: In the past couple of years I have received five orders of this product, and now I am sad to discover the milk is no longer like cream at all. Water has been added. Plus, like another reviewer mentioned, 4 of the 6 cans in my recent order are dented, two of them severely.I had searched in all grocery stores including Whole Foods for coconut milk that does not have guar gum since my daughter is allergic to that thickener. This milk -- which is no longer like coconut cream -- is free of guar gum and other additives so I was glad to have I discovered it here on Amazon. Since water has been added to this product, and the cans in my recent order were severely dented, I will return to the market and search again for coconut milk without thickeners. Very disappointed in this product which had been great and now is very thin.

    Extremely overpriced. Not worth it.

In the description, it lists ingredients as "coconut extract 60%, water." I only ever purchased this brand because it seemed so pure. It never had guar gum or preservatives. What I received lists ingredients, "Coconut milk 99.95%, Polysorbate 60". The company must have changed their formulation, but the cans pictured didn't show what ingredients I was really getting, so, I'm sending it back

This is the best coconut milk I have found - love it - it is creamy and the fat has not separated even in the fridge

The best coconut milk I have ever had in my life! It is very creamy, not too sweet. When cold it does get “lumpy” but that’s ok just stir it. I use it for my oatmeal. I used a bit of regular milk and one minute before it is done I add the coconut milk. I love it! I’m addicted to this coconut milk.also use it for any dish that you will add coconut milk as a sauce. I recommend to add it towards the end for any meal so that it you will have that strong coconut flavor. Bon apetit!

It seemed silly to order canned coconut milk online when it's available at many supermarkets but Aroy-D is impossible to find in the stores near me. It's the best one I've found for making homemade Cocoyo, which I make in the Instant Pot using the yogurt maker or sous vide function. Aroy-D does not arrive with a hard layer on top as do all grocery store brands that I have tried. Its fat content is higher, making thicker yogurt. The coconut milk yogurt made with Thai Kitchen, Native Forest, and Simple Truth canned coconut milk always had a hard layer on top, no matter how thoroughly it was mixed beforehand. Many reviews mentioned receiving dented cans. What I received was well packed with no dents. I plan to reorder when I need more. Aroy-D is an excellent product.

Thai Kitchen (not to be confused with Thai Kitchen Organic - which is just awful, and I prefer using organic ingredients, just not in this case) tastes ok in more complex recipes, or recipes that have vanilla added; however, for recipes that have no vanilla added, it tastes as though you've added it. For example, I make coco de crema (coconut pudding) but I don't add vanilla in this particular recipe because it overwhelms the smooth coconut flavor. Yet, when I've used the Thai Kitchen coconut milk I taste vanilla (and it tastes like artificial vanilla).Aroy-D coconut milk makes my recipes that use less ingredients and no vanilla taste pure, silky, and simply like coconut, which is exactly what I'm after on certain recipes especially. I know Aroy-D is more expensive, and where I live it's not available in stores so I must order online, but it's most certainly worth it. I highly recommend this product.

I’ve tried a number of different brands. I did some research and this one was highly recommended by a number of people so I thought I would give it a try. It’s the best one I’ve ever had! Actually has a nice smooth coconut flavor to it and the coconut milk itself is nice and creamy.

Contains polysorbate. Great. The only reason I ordered this was because it said it doesn't contain anything except coconut and water. Useless for me.

Don't buy these. Just like so many others have said, every last can was dented pretty badly. It's a shame, because this brand was recommended as the top brand to buy for making coconut yogurt.
