I've been using this stuff for years (10? 15?). I used to get it at Ulta. Or their store in the Mall. I wouldn't use anything else. It covers well and evens out my splotchy complexion. I'm getting these angry red rosacea spots (Ohh, no! The return of pimples at my age?), and I have some old skin cancer scars, and it does a great job of covering everything, without looking gunky.. It's cleaner and easier to use than liquid foundation, and I think it's healthier for my skin. (Sometimes I've even slept with it on, and in the morning my skin feels really soft and smooth.) It doesnt look all "melty" in the Summer. (And to be honest, I think liquid foundation used to clog up my sink. But I haven't noticed that with Bare Minerals.) And, BTW, I'm not getting compensated for this. I've just been using it forever and I love it. ( And what else are you going to do at 2 in the morning? Just lidding!)

Good product

The ingredients has changed because it leaves a bit of a shine on my face when it didn't use to. Is buildable although not needed as it has great coverage. Just wish it didn't leave a shine.

Very good product

This product is made with all natural minerals. It enhances my coloring by bring out the natural color and complexion. It is easy to apply, and when on the skin looks natural. It doesn’t even look like you are wearing makeup, just clean and bright. My wrinkles are hidden without looking caked on my skin. The size of the jar is fine. It takes only a small amount to cover my face, and I don’t feel made up. I’ve been using this for years and plan to continue.

Love this companies products. This is my go-to foundation because it works and blends very well. It lasts all day on my skin and is really easy to apply.

I'd suggest getting color matched at an Ulta or the mall because the names of the colors have changed. I thought I could get away with a slight warm (03 I think) because its summer but it was way too yellow and I ended up just going with the lightest color available. I actually use less now that I've gone with the lighter color which is the point of using mineral foundation anyways.They DO NOT list their colors from lightest to darkest, there are variants between the cools, neutrals and warms that can be drastically darker even tho it's a lower number, or drastically lighter even tho it's a higher number. It'd be great if they sold the starter kits with 3 or so shades so you could take a guess and at least get one that matches without having to guess you're shade online. If you don't know your color ahead of time I strongly encourage you to get color matched in store until they have a more cohesive color line up. Other than that, this is the mineral makeup I have loved and used for over 15 years. I do have to touch up every few hours because I have oily skin, even tho I use acne medication. If I scratch or rub my face I just dab a little where it's missing and put another layer of mineral Veil on top. One of the big benefits of this makeup is that you can touch it up easily and flawlessly without having to take everything off and start over. If you sweat a lot or have very oily skin you know how big of a deal that is and is basically a make or break for me because most other foundations if I smudge it I basically have to take off my entire face of foundation and start over because there's no possible way to reapply or touch up one spot.Also if you go a shade lighter as opposed to darker and don't over apply you can really make it look like you're wearing nothing at all. If you feel like you have to use a lot more than instructed you probably aren't using the right shade. When I was using a shade that was slightly too yellow I felt like I have to use a ton, but once I found a better match I barely had to use any. I start around my eyes and nose and once I'm happy with the coverage there I blend it out work what's left on the brush.I've used tons of other foundations and this is still my favorite. It's also the only foundation that doesn't make me break out, even if I forget to wash it off.

I’ve grown tired of trying to find that right shade of liquid, tired of makeup requiring cleaning my brush every time and just tired of liquid makeup, period. I used bare escentuals minerals for years prior to that, and have absolutely no idea why I strayed. I’ve come back to clean makeup that’s reliable, looks natural and makes my face feel so great. Bare minerals is best for me so - I’m home again. I know exactly what to buy and it’s much faster, cleaner, and is excellent for my skin. I have makeup to both toss and some new/unopened to give to someone. I’m sticking with bare minerals for every reason I can think of. Less fuss and no mess, it’s good for my skin, it’s always fast and predictable and looks like I have good skin with only some blush, eye makeup, eyebrows and lips done. Faster, cleaner, better, easier. It worked when I was younger and it is the same today. It covers, even though you feel like there’s ‘nothing there.’ No worries!
