GORDINI Gore Gauntlet Mitt, Color: Black, Size: L (3M1029-BLK-L)
Expensive but worth it. Served its purpose of keeping my hands warm through a 15 day Trans Siberian journey where temperatures dropped to minus 20 C. Didnt need hand warmers or other gloves. What I didn't like: confusion about the size - guesswork and no-returns policy for such a costly item made it risky. I went for a Medium.
I don’t like it. Size is on the small side, not able to wear another pair underneath. It is not warm or soft. The palm side is just a thin layer of fabric, not warm
These run large but are super warm and comfortable
These mitts are fine if it's around 30 degrees F or higher. But when I wore them in 15-20 degrees F, my fingers froze. I've taken to wearing them with silk liners, and adding a heating pack ....they're OK then, but no great shakes. So, if you live in Minnesota, N. Dakota, Canada, or Alaska ... maybe these are not a great choice for you.My problem is that the price point for better-insulated mittens is about twice what I paid for these. And I just can't go there.
Exactly what I wanted - very warm, yet lightweight feel/not bulky.
She loves them! Super warm and dry!!! This is a great brand, still have a pair of gloves from 25 years ago!
These mittens are amazing! I was having a terrible time keeping my hands warm while skiing, so I was on the hunt for great mittens. I wore these with silk glove liners for a 4-day trip to Colorado - we went sledding, snowmobiling, snow shoeing, skiing, and even made snow angels and my hands never once got cold! Huge improvement from my old ski gloves, and worth every penny!
A bit too large for that i expected. In rather a milder winter day, my hands were sweating.
Best mittens ever! Bought them last season and I keep on weearing them (I ski more than 2 months per year) . They are even more warm than the Hestra gloves from my husband. Seriously the best mittens eveer!
These work great. I have poor circulation in my hands, but these gloves keep my fingers warm even in -9 degrees and while cross country skiing in 10 degrees. They do a good job of wicking away moisture, too, I feel, since I can do physical activity in them and they do not get sopping wet, although they do get a little damp during physical activity over half an hour probably. Over all a great purchase!

Based in Vermont and independently-owned, Gordini has focused on the same mission since its founding 65 years ago: to keep hands warm and dry so you can stay outside longer. We believe that handwear, face protection, and goggles are not merely accessories – they are equipment and should be built to endure the most demanding conditions season after season. We take our commitment to people and the planet seriously and build that into everything we do.
