Used on a hot day for chemical work and no fog or burning eyes from chemicals as they don't have vents. Exactly what I needed and a decent price too. Material feels about the same as all the other goggles I have used so no complaints there.
Great stuff and did not hurt my head. Thumb up!
For $4, these googles are well built - light, wearable over glasses, protect the eyes and face and don't fog. Since the glasses are snug and cover half my face, these only fit with 3M's respirator that needs external cartridge fitting and not the 3M 8511PA1-2A-PS Valved Paint Sanding Respirator where the respirator's nose area will interfere with these goggles.
Great for the use needed.
Keeps the fumes out of my eyes.
There is plenty of flexible material around the goggles except for where it’s needed most - the nose area. The flexible material around the rest of the goggles is sufficient to provide a seal for a wide range of face shapes and sizes. However, this flexible material is in very short supply around the nose. The goggles don’t come close to even touching my face around my nose, leaving a large gap between my face and the goggles. Unless this area of your face is shaped exactly like the goggles, you will not have a proper seal and your eyes will not be protected. I tried tightening the strap as much as I could and it only made the gap slightly smaller. Due to the location of the gap and the barely existent flexible material, tightening the strap would never solve the problem. The only way I got an actual seal around the entire pair of goggles was placing my hands on the front of them and pushing them hard into my face so that they made contact with my skin. As you can imagine, this is not a useful fix for the problem, as I’ll need my hands while wearing these.Props to the seller though for easy “return”. They issued a refund and do not require return of the item. This easy process bumped my review up by one star.
I used them over my readers for concrete drilling and those puppies fogged up in 20 seconds or less. Great and secure for the protection I needed to keep concrete bits out of my eyes, at least. Annoying to have to take them off completely after not even a minute to wipe the fog off so I could see what I was doing, and to do that several times during the task.
These are decent enough for the price, if they fit you. Thankfully, they worked for me and provided adequate protection, but they’re a little flimsy, and there’s no adjustability.
These are fine if you want to protect your eyes from projectiles. But if you're working with chemicals forget it because of the way they're designed the nose part is designed and only one way. What I mean by that is all human noses are different so there's no way that this is going to keep out any chemical smoke or anything like that.Your best bet is to buy a goggle that hugs your face snugly and if it has vents just plug them with hot glue.I originally intended to use these around a campfire because the smoke will irritate your eyes but it shut up right on the side of my nose so that they went.
Needed goggs for chem lab & I wasn’t about to pay bookstore prices. These worked just fine & fit over my glasses. They did fog a little but not a big deal. Now they just sit on my desk. So basically, don’t waste your money, just get these instead. Lab is once a week for 16 weeks.
good quality
We are very very impressed with these goggles!!!Great price! They fit my face very well and comfortable!!I have not had any problems with a bad smell that I read about in some reviews!!They smell like new plastic ~ exactly like I expected!! Simply wash them with warm water and dry if you want to buy I didn’t feel that was necessary!!I bought these to put in my tornado prep box!! I was talking with a friend that’s a fireman and he recommended getting goggles and football helmets to help protect eyes and head!!I’m praying I never need to use them but I would rather be prepared!!Plus if for some reason I need a pair of goggles for something ~ I’ll have plenty on hand!!!Yes ~ I will recommend you making this purchase!!
They are good fit but they do not look like the picture. They are comfortable. But they don’t look like the picture they have some vents and I was looking for non vented one.
