It mixes up super easy, obviously, and for a quick Old Fashioned when I don't feel like muddling, it’s better than a lot of the bottled stuff out there. The bottle is large, claiming it’ll make 15 drinks, which is a decent yield. You just pour it over ice and add your whiskey, that's it. Keep the rest in the fridge, which is handy if you host sometimes.Now, let's talk about the label. Whoa. This isn't exactly a health tonic, and it's a bit disappointing considering how good it tastes. It's loaded with high fructose corn syrup, artificial and natural flavors, plus those FD&C red and blue dyes. They really could do better on the ingredients, honestly, even if the flavor profile is spot on for a classic cocktail.Also, heads up: the "best by" date was only about four months out when I got the bottle. If you aren't drinking these often, you'll want to watch that date. While the flavor is great and the mix is simple, the questionable ingredients and short shelf life keep it from being a five-star product for me.
