This cuticle remover works brilliantly. It's far too runny to apply straight from the bottle, use a cotton bud to apply to the cuticle area. I applied to one hand then filed my nails which took me no longer than a minute. I then pushed back my cuticles, all the skin had been dissolved so had to wipe the excess off my manicure stick, I just had to do a tidy around the edges with some nippers. It was so quick and effortless. Washed my hand then repeated with the other hand. Absolutely brilliant stuff, worth every penny, the bottle will last for a long time.
I've never had nice, much less pretty, nails, but at 72 I thought that I was used to that. However, a week ago I was outside enjoying the sun when I got a good, clear, close look at my HORRIBLE CUTICLES. I had one of those " I can't stand this a minute more" moments! Instead of amputating at the knuckles, I opened my Amazon app and began searching for help. There's a lot of cuticle treatments but I was impressed with the Blue Cross products reviews and that they list all of their ingredients! I received my bottle the next day and have applied it every day now for 7 days. Guess what. It's WORKING!! OMGoodness, I can actually see a difference in both my cuticles and the nails themselves. They just look healthier, the crazy dry, cracked skin is almost completely gone and my nails seem smoother somehow. This liquid is easy to apply and is WORTH EVERY PENNY! Please consider trying it for yourself...soon
Good
This liquid helps soften the cuticle. It's excellent, works quickly, and lasts a long time. good price.
This stuff is really runny and doesn’t really stay on my fingers.
I drop just small amount and the the cuticle will bcome soft and easily remove
This is a nice product and it does work. However it’s a little too watery and hard to apply without making a mess
Many years before I was using another popular alternative which wasn't working at all, when I bought this one I was in test, sceptical mode, didn't expect a lot but was very much surprised how fast and effectively it removed not only cuticles but all dead skin aroun! Just don't put too much in healthy and smooth area it was hurting a little on my finger, just use it where it's intended to, aka on cuticles and dead, rough skin
So far this cuticle remover has worked very well. I switched from the Sally Hansen Instant Cuticle remover and I think this works a bit betterI put the remover in a dropper bottle (an old cuticle oil bottle) because it is very watery. In the dropper it is very easy to dispense a small amount on the nail. It pools in the nail area and very little gets on the skin. I feel like this remover gets less on my skin than the Sally Hansen.
good quality
Wow guys. WOW. I saw this recommended on tt so so long ago and after maybe a couple of years of sitting in my wishlist, I got it.I would like to take this opportunity to address some notable points I saw in other people's reviews.Consistency: yes, it is very thin, however, I do not find this to be an issue. I actually find that it is absorbed by the dead skin much faster than my experience with thicker cuticle removers.Bottle: to piggyback on the thinness of the product, I have not had the issue of it leaking from the bottle like other people. I can tip my bottle tip down and the liquid only comes out if I squeeze the bottle. My recommendation is to shake the bottle first because the more solid parts of the solution may have settled at the bottom when not in use. I DON'T KNOW IF THIS IS THE CASE, but it's what I do and I don't have the issue with leakage like others.Unlike other removers, you do not have to massage this in and let it sit for 5-10+ minutes. I find the effect to be almost immediately after application. Sometimes I will apply on each finger and go back to the first finger and go back down the line with a second drop or two if I feel the skin has absorbed it already or it dried away too much already. Some tips:DO use with your hand on top of a paper towel as there may be some dripping of the product. Plus, once you scrape (GENTLY) away the dead skin, you will want something to clean your tool, or whatever you're using to scrape (AGAIN GENTLY, DON'T BE DUMB) away the dead skin.DON'T scrape your nail plate aggressively when removing the dead skin. I have pulled up tinyyyy and thin strips of the top layer of my nails from being too rough even when I thought I was being gentle.DO wash this off THOROUGHLY. I'm talking water rinse, then soap, rinse, and if you have a brush, then brush (GENTLY) your cuticle area and under your nail. If you do not wash it all off properly, the residual product can make the area under your nail peely. I don't know if this the left over product or my skin, it does not hurt at all or seem like skin when I have seen this happen, but I just want to put that disclaimer in there.DO follow up with proper moisturizer and nail oil. There really is no point in doing all this work and then not properly caring for your cuticles and nails because the dryness is what can cause the buildup that you need to remove with this product. If you're not big on doing or caring for your nails, I wouldn't recommend this. It's a lot of product for someone who will let it sit in a cabinet, but if you do partake in nail care and nails on a daily/regular basis, I would recommend this!
