08-03-2026I will state very clearly: Believe (and heed) the reviews which warn about how it is nearly impossible to use these adhesive dots. I consider myself adept at peeling off adhesive backer from, for example, labelmaker tape, double sided tape, decals, etc. However, it is ridiculously difficult to peel the red protective layer off of these dots to expose the adhesive. I tried using my finger nails, fine tweezers, a safety pin, an Xacto knife, etc. Eventually, after 2 minutes of delicate surgery, I was able to pull away the protective paper, but by that time the adhesive "dot" was no longer round and flat; instead, it was all balled up, like a tiny piece of used chewing gum. I had intended to use these dots to secure a glass flower vase to the top of a glass pedestal, but no way will these work for that. I will be returning this product.

08-03-2026I searched the net, watched Youtube, read the comments on Amazon, but was unable to find any reliable way to peel off the backing tape from these dots. It took me five minutes to peel one dot and by the time I was done it was not round shape any more or stick to anything. And it seems like the only material this tape sticks well to is its backing tape, metal or painted wood -- not so much.
