I find an odd cashew not completely cleaned off these sometimes a nice crunch sometimes I desire more of a crunch, but they are always a great snack to have over all.
I've been purchasing the 10lb bag from this company for years. Our family uses that much about every 3 months, give or take a couple weeks. I make a batch of cashew cream every few days & keep it in the fridge for my morning coffee & for oatmeal & other cereals for the kids. It's an easy go to for vegan milk if you're short on time because cashews don't really need soaking. We make creamy sauces for pasta & vegan cheese spread from these as well, but our main use is dairy-free cream.I saw another reviewer had a bad batch, which I'm really surprised at given my own experience. We've bought this brand for years & have never had never had anything but white, fresh tasting, raw cashews with zero shells. If we ever do receive a bad batch from this company, obviously we'll return it for refund because 10lbs of cashews are not cheap. So far so good for us.
Great product! Fresh and easy to use.

Very satisfied with this purchase.
I am a celiac. I could see this on the item's page "Packaged in the same facility as tree nuts and grains." Generally makes me run the opposite direction. Couldn't find any indication the item was gluten free, but risked the possibility of trashing the entire order if they were. The price was just too good to pass up since I use cashews for making my dairy free nut milk. For some reason the country of origin is blurred out and cannot be determined from the Amazon page. When my order arrived and I saw "Country of origin: Indonesia;" I was more hopeful they would be safe. Wheat cannot grow in Indonesia, so the "grain" contact would have been rice. Thankfully, they are indeed gluten free. I have made one batch of delicious cashew milk, beautiful, white and rich as half and half. Such a good product and an especially good price. Order arrived almost as soon as I left my computer keyboard!:) Will buy again. Thanks Much!
I bought organic cashews from this seller before, and those cashews had a very nice "soft" pleasant taste to them. But this non-GMO batch has a "chemical" taste to it, not pleasant to eat straight form the bag, and nowhere on the bag does it say non-GMO. I mainly use cashews to put into dishes where these are just barely acceptable for flavouring, so did not return them because they are quite cheaper than organic.
I have been buying these regularly from Amazon for about 2 years now. They taste fantastic and are large buttery raw cashews. Delivery is typically pretty fast (3 days on average). Packaging is resealable and I store these in the fridge to keep them fresh. I make cashew butter, cashew milk, and cashew cream with them as well as having them on hand for snacks and recipes.
Cashews are delicious and good price. I gave only 4 stars because I thought I had ordered organic but these weren't. Still good and nourishing. Not sure what chemicals are sprayed on them tho. Thank you.
There’s a little more bad nuts then I’d like and the taste is a little off. Maybe it’s just because it’s a different brand? Or I did some research and could be from moth ball vapour. Will not buy again.Edit: I am able to use cashew if soaking first. I just soak in boiling water for a few hours then drain and rinse really well. It helps with the aftertaste. Customer service contacted me and was quite quick with trying to resolve the problem through compensation and figuring out the quality problem through lot #. I am considering buying again in the future.
Not too certain on how my life came to this point of ordering bulk cashews on the cheap for snacking purposes, but my oh my what a mistake I made to order this batch. Received this bag of masked sorrow with impeccable timing months ago and decided that it was finally time to write my review on this most unholy product. When I got this bag I was exuberant to the utmost and could not wait to chow down. The first handful was a taste of dismay and sudden realization that what I had purchased was too good to be true. I deciding to take a second handful of the Shews to figure if it were the nuts or my taste buds. It was definitely the nuts. Stale as a 7 month old Cheese ball you'd find behind you're oven and tasted nothing like a pure Shew. That is not the frightening part or the reason for this well deserved rating. The next 2 months that followed these 2 handfuls of human eradication "things-in-a-bag" were unbearable to some. I crapped constantly and had itchy butt syndrome so bad I might as well have wiped my bum with poison oak, and had a feather lightly rub it for hours. No amount of scratching, wipes, powders, or even pleas for help were an answer. And Charmin's got a review on their Ultra Soft is coming, because it wasn't soft enough. Nothing was. Beware and Ignore.
This is a good price for a quality product. I bought in bulk and stored in Tupperware. I make vegan milk and cheese with cashews and these are very fresh and tasty.

Stir the nuts every few minutes, until they’re golden brown. The nuts should develop a rich aroma as they cook. If you notice an acrid or burnt scent, stop cooking immediately. This method works for both whole nuts and halves.
