08-03-2026I started buying these over a year ago and have since bought them in bulk using Subscribe & Save. I use them for emergency food outside, and at home in various ways as well (in breakfast rolls, cut up for homemade pizza, etc.) They taste like very clean dried meat. You can tell that there aren't a bunch of horrible chemicals. They are a bit salty, but jerky is salty, so you have to expect it. My only complaint (easily resolved) is the casing leaves a funny film on my teeth, as it's made of collagen. It's easy enough to remove, so it's not a problem. I love these sticks!EDIT: I bought these again years later only to discover in very small print: ENCASED IN BEEF COLLAGEN CASING. Seriously?! I purposefully bought these because they are made from TURKEY! Never again.

Depending on the flavor, some of our individual sticks contain <1g sugar. They are not a low-calorie food.
