As someone with a collection of both quartz and mechanical watches, I’m always on the lookout for pieces that stand out in design and comfort, and the Bulova Marine Star delivers on both fronts.What immediately caught my eye is the styling. It sets itself apart from other dive-style watches with its recessed rectangular indices, reminiscent of the Tudor Pelagos, offering a subtle depth and dimensionality not typically found at this price point. It gives the dial a more refined and architectural feel that elevates the look beyond standard dive watch design.Once sized, the Marine Star fits perfectly and wears exceptionally well balanced on the wrist. It is not too heavy or bulky, just the right weight for all-day wear. It has that grab-and-go ease of a quartz paired with the wrist presence of something much more expensive.The only minor drawback is typical of many quartz watches: the seconds hand doesn’t consistently hit all the indices. It’s a bit disappointing, especially considering that less expensive quartz models from Citizen and Casio often nail this detail. That said, it’s only really noticeable if you’re specifically looking for it. For everyday use, just glancing at the time, it’s a complete non-issue.All in all, this is a well-designed, stylish, and comfortable watch that I’m happy to add to my rotation. It will definitely see regular wear. If you’re looking for a sharp-looking quartz with unique styling and solid build quality, the Bulova Marine Star is a great choice. Very satisfied.

Un hermoso reloj que no decepciona con excelentes materiales y acabados gracias a unexcelente control de calidad, yo soy fab¿n de Bulova y de hecho tengo este mismo modelo que compre hace casi 10 años y que tiene un color mas plateado y brillante y el actual da un color mas similar al Titanio lo cual hace que se vean diferentes.

Very nice watch. Classy, stylish and perfect size for my wrist. It has been mistaken for a Rolex by more than one person. Glad I bought it.

Very happy in all respects with the watch. My only suggestion is that the package should be wrapped in bubble wrap before being put in the plastic pot bag - not a problem in my case but should be better protected.

Having a Rolex Submariner for two decades and never considered any alternative until my Submariner was stolen. I searched for years and even purchased a knock off in Net York which lasted less than a year before it stopped working. I stumbled on this watch. Was suprised to see that the band is from china and other parts being Japanese, which weren’t divulged when ordering. However, I’m impressed with how much this watch resembles my stolen Rolex Submariner- the weight, the face, and the date window, bezel, etc. I’ve had several people comment on it and at first glance thought it was my original Submariner. I give it four out of five stars! The only issue is that they should include band sizing instructions. I’ll have to take it to a jewelry store to properly size it!

Just recently purchased the Bulova Marine Star 98B230 and was so impressed with its superb engineering quality, precision time keeping prowess, impressive looks, that I decided to pull the trigger and purchase the Bulova 98B203 ... It's quality is outstanding, and that Rolex Submariner look ,but minus"I have to mortgage my home to afford it" allows me to wear this timepiece everyday without the worrythat I could damaged it, or have it stolen ..,,... The Bulova looks, feels, and keeps precision time like a watch worth far more than what I paid for it ..... I highly recommend this Bulova timepiece to anyone wanting an everyday watch they'll be delighted to show and wear on any occasion...,

The face of this watch is the highlight. The bezel is a nice touch. The water resistance is 100 meters. $320 for a Bulova watch this size is unheard of. It is my finest timepiece. Kind of like a bling bling divers watch. Don't sleep.

Sharp clean/classic looking watch and great price point!

I have a hard time taking this watch off my wrist! First off, it's incredibly beautiful, with a simple, classy design, and also quite comfortable. However, what I like the most in this watch is its accuracy. As it fits all Bulova quartz watches, it's reliable, accurate and well balanced on one's wrist. Even though it's a bit on the large and hefty side, it becomes part of your body after a while. Easy to wear, read, enjoy, has the looks of a Submariner or a Tudor Pelagos (I've been told) and I dare say performs just as well for a small fraction of the price.
