Works well for the small tools around the shop
The clasps are very weak and multiple times it opened while carrying. For the price, I won't return it but I wish I paid more and got better
This is a very light weight tool box and rather flimsy. The latches on mine do not hold well and I'm afraid that if I put any heavy tools in the box, the latches won't hold the lid shut. It's lightweight design is better suited to the weight of fishing gear or craft items - not tools.
useless for what I wanted. I have arthritis and can't even get the handle open. also bought a craftsman for a little more that is great.
The toolbox is decent but with one major failure. The yellow clips that lock down the lid keep coming off. What happens is that they drop down too low when the lid is open and when you try to close the lid the yellow clips end up getting caught INSIDE the toolbox. When that happens they just pop off. Very frustrating.
This lightweight plastic toolbox is very functional for numerous uses. I especially like the latching compartments on the top for small parts, screws, etc. It's all plastic construction but the triple hinges on the back and double latches in front make it sturdy enough for it's size. For what it is, this is a good one.
Like most items today, this is made of 100% plastic. As a worksite toolbox, I wouldn't trust it. This is especially true if you plan on carrying any sort of heavy tools inside. I like some of the features, such as the removable containers on the sides of the lids, good for carrying small items such as fasteners that easily get lost in the bottom of a toolbox all too often. The lift out top try is nice for carrying a lot of small tools such as tape measures, pliers and small wrenches, all at once. It has a nice locking hasp, if you choose to lock up your toolbox when you are out and about. The handle on the lid seems sturdy and easy to grip, good for when your hands might be sweaty or damp. The only other thing I can say about this toolbox is the fact that the latches also seem to be a bit weak and flimsy, so be mindful of this.Overall, this is a good toolbox for renters who want to keep a few hand tools on hand to fix minor things without having to call for maintenance for a lose fastener or other simple tasks, however, if you are looking at toolboxes for a homeowner or industrial setting, please look elsewhere.
