REED Men's New Zealand Lambskin Leather Jacket

I wasn't sure when I ordered it if the quality, fit and finish would be good. It isn't good, it is GREAT! I have had other high end leather jackets and prefer lamb skin over leather for its very soft feel.It is superior to my Joseph Banks leather jacket that I am replacing it with.The fit is spot on (I am 5-09, 200lbs) and the XL fit is perfect.I highly recommend this jacket.

This is one of two REED leather jackets that I purchased from Amazon. The "American Style Bomber",(ASIN:B00KMS9CX6), and The "New Zealand Lambskin",(ASIN:B00KMSD066).The Bomber jacket was made of nice quality top grain leather with a textured look and grain. The New Zealand was made of genuine lambskin leather, much softer and smoother than the other, giving it an overall sharper look. It could be worn with nicer business wear and not be seen as out of place whereas the Bomber's texture looks more casual.The stitching on both was great. The 3 pockets were nice and deep. The lining does not button or attach to the inside pocket, so one must be careful when using it so that the item is indeed going into the pocket and not just the slit in the liner where it will fall to the ground. I'm going to use small binder clips to alleviate that problem. Another inside pocket on the right would have been nice.I am 5'8", 155 lbs, 32" Waist and found that size Medium was a little too roomy for me. The waistband rested on my butt, even when it was zipped up. I ordered a Small in the Lambskin and it fits perfectly.PROS: Both nice leather, Quality workmanship, Good price, Amazon returnsCONS: Both made in China, Lining doesn't attach to pocket, Only 1 inner pocket

This is the second time that I ordered the same jacket.The first one that I received was miss sized. So I returned that one. In general the jacket seemed quite nice so I ordered it again.The second jacket fits correctly (same size as the first jacket). It is a very nice jacket.

Ever since I was in my twenties I’ve always wore leather jackets. Thirty years later I still enjoy wearing a soft lamb skin leather jacket. But I’m very picky and have high expectations when purchasing a $300+ leather jacket. IT MUST BE QUALITY. I was not familiar with this company but I took a chance anyways and bought a leather jacket from REED. I said I can always return it if it doesn’t meet my expectations. I received the jacket fairly quickly and it was properly packaged. When I tried on the jacket, it fit like a glove. I can see and feel it’s a Very High Quality Jacket and is Very Soft like I like it. I could sleep in this jacket. No Joke! I purchased an XXL and It’s not too thick or too thin but just right. The technology in this jacket is Amazing!!! When it’s really cold outside it keeps me warm but as the day begins to warm up it keeps me cool. I don’t even need to take it off like my other leather jackets. I get a lot of compliments how well the jacket looks and feels. The price point was well worth it. In the end my expectations were met and I kept the jacket. If you’re in the market for a soft lamb skin leather jacket, I recommend this one. I got it as a gift and Love It!! I plan to purchase a different style leather jacket from Reed in the near future. Excellent fit and value. Looks and feels like a much more expensive leather jacket. I've worn Reed Jackets for years, and they do not disappoint.

Very happy with this lambskin jacket. Fits well, looks great. Late review because I delayed wearing it untilthis fall.

First, you need to decide if you want leather. It's having, and get scratched, and have all kinds of other issues. But if you love it, you love it. There's nothing better at keeping the windout. In terms of weight per warmth it's not great, but man, it looks gorgeous and feels wonderful. I wouldn't trade it for any high-tech winter wear. This one comes with a Thinsulate liner that not so easy to replace but is very warm. It basically replaces my heavy winter coat (I live in Massachusetts) and always feels warm and great to put on. If leather is one of your things, I couldn't recommend the coat more highly.Just one thing to be aware of, the coat looks so nice that it has a tendency to "walk". This is my 2nd additions because I wasn't careful enough about the first one!

I received my lambskin jacket this evening, and I must say I was extremely impressed with the quality of the leather and the workmanship. I was under the impression that all of Reed jackets were Union made in the USA. This jacket states on a tag, Made in China. Thus only 4 stars.My last Reed jacket finally have out after 30 years, hope this one outlives me.
