Recycled rip stop taffeta shell with quilted stitching and up palm with up reinforcements.
Really pleased with these mittens as have struggled to find a pair in small size . Great price and seem very good quality . Like the Velcro fastening to keep them snug . So far my hands are lovely and warm have yet to try them in freezing cold conditions .
These mittens are great! I ordered a pair and immediately lost one so I ordered again because they are that good. I worked in a school this past year where I had to supervise recess. It was like standing in a wind tunnel where recess was held and these mittens kept my hands warm. The fit was great with an adjustable strap. They were soft inside and felt nice. I don't much care if things look nice as long as they keep me warm, but these looked nice without looking too bulky.
I’ve never had mittens before but it’s true what they say, mittens keep your hands warmer! I’m on the East Coast and I’ve been outside with these mittens in frigid temps with north-westerly winds and the mittens kept my hands toasty. They are well insulated and the inside is super cozy. The stretchy cuff is long enough to go under your sleeve but not so bulky that it is hard to get under your sleeve and it is also super soft. Of course you have limited dexterity in mittens so good for walking dog or making snow balls. Based on reviews, I ordered Women’s large. They are just a bit too large. I’m keeping them because I think a medium might be too small. They do the job though and keep my hands warm!
Sehr gute warme Fahrrad Handschuhe. Wenn es völlig schüttet sind sie von oben nicht wasserdicht, ist normal würde ich sagen. Bei Schuhgröße 38 passt mir Größe S
Love the mits. Warm and cozy, but also waterproof. The fit is great. Easy to slide on and off.
Super warm, well made - snug. You may want to order a size up if snug is uncomfortable for you. It is for me. I am 5’2”, 140, with tiny wrists and proportional hands. I drive a school bus for a living and they did everything i wanted them to. Great grip, still able to push buttons. But not quick to take on and off. Most medium hand items are normally a little big, but these leave no wiggle room for my fingers. Probably due to interior fleece like lining. They are amazing otherwise.
I had a good pair of fur lined snow gloves, but in freezing temperatures my fingers were still cold. My daughter works at a ski resort and recommended getting mittens. So, I bought these waterproof mittens hoping they would work better than the gloves. These gloves really do keep your fingers warmer and are well made. The sizing is pretty acurate. I ordered the medium which I normally wear and they fit perfectly. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase.
Work for cold winters in MN! Avid walker even the cold! These keep my hands warm.
These were a game changer. As someone who naturally has cold hands, I was nervous to travel to the Arctic and in addition to buying these, I bought rechargeable hand warmers. Not only did I not have to rely on my hand warmers as much as I thought I was going to, but these mittens were also roomy enough that when it was extra cold, I could slip the hand warmers into the mittens for extra warmth. But for the majority of the time, I only relied on the mittens and they did a really good job keeping my hands warm and if I took my hands out for a short period, as soon as I stuck them back in, I felt them warming up. Very satisfied with this purchase!
These Carhartt women’s quilted mittens were a mix of hits and misses for me.• Warm but Not Overheating: They kept my hands cozy without making them too hot, which is hard to find.• Flexible and Comfortable: The design is not bulky, making it easy to move my hands while wearing them.• Durability Issue: Unfortunately, they ripped during the first season, which was disappointing given the brand’s reputation. In short: These mittens are great for warmth and comfort, but I wish they had held up better. Perfect for light use, but maybe not for harsher conditions.
I have spent so much $$$ on high end, name brand gloves in hopes of having warmish hands while skiing, but have been left disappointed with even the best-of-the-best. Well, in my desperate preparation for another cold, single-digit temp ski trip, I decided to take the opposite approach and buy something completely different...Carhartt mittens. And I'm gonna say it...I absolutely LOVE them! This is the FIRST time that my fingers have not been cold while skiing, even in the blowing wind at the top of the mountain. I wore them with liners and slid a hand warmer inside (which stayed nicely in it's place) and my fingers were almost hot at times. Unbelievable. Simply unbelievable. And they are actually really cute! And comfortable! They have a super soft fleece lining and cuff, the baffling on the top looks surprisingly modern, and I didn't feel a smidgen of wind the entire time (yay, windproof). No more trading gloves with my heat-pump of a hubby on the chair lift. Apparently, Mr. Carhartt has taken over that duty. : )I have medium palms and longer fingers and usually get a Medium in gloves, however after reading other reviews I decided to order a Large and I'm glad I did. They fit perfectly. Definitely not too big...and I think with their design, larger doesn't mean sloppy, so I wouldn't hesitate ordering on the generous side, especially if you're going to wear liners or throw a hand warmer in them. I am truly one surprised and delighted ski bunny.
Lightweight and warm. Used them outside at minus 40 Celsius.
As pictured, great fit, warm (have worn in up to -30 temps) and durable so far! Expensive brand and these likely would have been cheaper in store, but nearly impossible to find. Great for out walking at the dog park!
