Nice quality material and well designed. In fact it could be bit challenging for people who are not used to do such thing includes many pieces in assembly and little time consuming but I found this stuff really worth it because everything fits perfect if you can understand and follow the instructions given with it.**Some shoes of size 12 and above may not fit in to cabinet**
Easy to put together and looks nice! For someone like me that hates putting things together, this was simple, and didn't take a ton of time.
This shoe rack was perfect for my home. I had an ugly shoe rack that showed all of the shoes before, and I love this one because it is enclosed and does not show any shoes. It was very easy to assemble. My daughter assembled it in less than an hour, while watching TV. The assembly directions are very easy to understand, the pieces of wood are labeled, and all the parts come in individual bags which makes it easy to organize. The only issue I had with this purchase was the delivery. For some reason it was delivered through USPS, and since it is over 40lbs it is considered "heavy" so I had to pick it up from the post office. It's a lovely shoe rack, and perfect for anyone looking for a stylish piece to hold shoes or other things and you can put decorative items on the top!
Easy to put together and it was just what we were looking for our entranceway, functional and elegant looking
My son came back home to live with us "temporarily" until he finds a new home and my wife told me that I had to move my shoes to make room. I told her to leave my shoes alone and she should donate half a truck load of hers to good will. So the next day I found all my shoes in a pile in the basement (could have been worse) right beside the "unwanted but not garbage" pile of stuff that we keep down there. At that point I realized that I too had a few too many pairs of shoes but not willing to throw away any, I started looking in Amazon to find a shoe cabinet (not a shoe rack) to put my shoes in. I wanted to buy something that looks good in case I was ever allowed to move my shoes back upstairs and it turns out that there are many choices that are either too expensive or too cheap looking for shoe storage. My biggest problem was that I wear size 12 and most cabinets will not fit that. When I found this cabinet I was skeptical because it is not clear that it will fit men's size 12 shoes but thankfully, it does! It fits sneakers size 12 too that typically have an over-sized sole. Here are some things you may want to know before you buy:1) The inside depth is 12 and 3/4. I suggest that you take the largest pair of shoes you own and measure it to make sure it fits. Having said that, the doors are a bit flimsy and the magnets will still keep them closed if your shoes are just a hair too long for it.2) The inside width is 28 and the height between shelves is 5 and 1/4.3) It will not fit boots. I am not talking about tall boots, but any boots. You can fit some boots by removing one shelf but then you can only fit 6 pairs of normal shoes and 3 pairs of boots.4) Assembly is very easy and all you need is a small hammer and a phillips screw driver. The instructions are very good but the pieces are not clearly marked and some of them were marked by hand with a red pen. However, even if the pieces have no markings, they can easily be identified by the illustrations of the assembly instructions.5) The material is really cheap and flimsy. I was going to lower the rating because of this but then I thought, "it is going to hold shoes, it is not a display piece". However, it does look good and has a nice finish. If the finish lasts, it is worth every penny but judging from the material quality, I would prefer it at around $50.6) It is made of particle board and that will not work well if you store wet/damp shoes7) The doors are louvered and that allows air to move in and out the cabinet which is very important for storing shoes.8) It is very sturdy so you can use the top of the cabinet as a convenient tabletop. In conclusion, if you do not mind the cost this is an excellent solution to putting the shoes out of sight. If your house has a foyer, or similar area, this cabinet is highly recommended. However, I cannot speak for the durability of the cabinet yet but I will update my review at a later time.
It is a great for every day use. I used it as a shoe rack but we can still use it in a different ways and organize our things. The shelves are adjustable and enough sturdy to keep things in it. Doors are really nice and close easily.
I really like this shoe cabinet - it has quite a few shelves and fits 12 pairs of my husbands shoes and 9 pairs of my shoes. It’s a great color if you like darker wood and it is sturdy, no issues with putting things on top of it.
was not hard to assemble, sturdy and holds quite a few footwear.Has a nice look as well
I love this cabinet! Just moved to an apartment and I hate the sight of shoes right when you walk in. Looks very nice. I read the reviews and just kept the 1st shelf out to accommodate winter boots and I cut up an outdoor, indoor rug to soak up moisture and not ruin the shelves. Looks nice and perfect size. Not too big or roo small. Great value for your money
Looks good and feels sturdy. I can fit about 12 pairs of size 13 mens shoes. 1st one arrives with missing parts so had to return and replaement arrived in 3 days. Assembly took about 1 and a half hours. Instructions were clear enough - helps to pay attention to the clues in the diagrams. I added felt pads to the legs to protect wood floor
Just purchased this product and it certainly looks a lot nicer for guests who are hanging up their coats in our front entrance closet. Before, we had an open shoe rack, which wasn't very appealing! The slats on the doors are a little flimsy but we had read an earlier review so we made sure we handled the doors carefully during installation. We gave it a 4 because Step 1 of the Assembly Instructions was a little confusing - it definitely needs to be clarified. Will see how it holds up over time, but so far, pleased!
This cabinet looks fine and would probably look good in whatever room you put it in. I wear a size 5 to 6 shoe/sneaker. My shoes/sneakers fit but if the shoes you are planning to use this cabinet for are sizes over size six, they are not going to fit because of depth. Forget it for men's bedroom shoes/regular shoes/sandals/sneakers (that is why I did not give 5 stars because the depth). However, if you buy this and are disappointed with its use as a shoe cabinet, it can easily be re-purposed. For example, I like cloth tablecloths and napkins and have a lot of them; this little cabinet is perfect for housing them so I don't use it for shoes/sneakers because I found it more useful for the tablecloths. My husband had no problem with the assembly of this cabinet.
Was ok for a bit no long durability. All slats in the middle fell out and the door is not even so they just fell out. Door came off hinged and could not re attach. If your looking for something short term then this is it
