I think this little gadget is a must have. I've had my original one for about 8 yrs and it definitely keeps the jawline firm. So FIVE Stars for that. BUT I just bought a new one thinking that one day it might not be available and mine might wear out. The newer model is harder to put together, and a bit cheaper quality but once you get the two halves lined up and fitted together it works just as well as the earlier one. And you only take it apart if you want to change the spring strength. Follow the use instructions carefully for best result. You've got to have a slight smile when you open your jaw. Easy exercise. I use the strongest spring and do 40 slow reps every morning, It only takes a minute.

I just received my order for Christmas. I ordered one for myself and two as gifts. One of the boxes appeared as though someone had already opened it and another of the boxes had a bit of dirt on it. When I checked the contents of all three boxes, I found that the items had a bit of grit/dirt on them, perhaps from the factory where they were made. The instructions indicate that there should be a black emblem on the device, letting you know where it locks and unlocks. None of the ones I ordered have that indicator on them. But we tested the devices and each of them works well. I'm looking forward to using the device and seeing the results.

Its not new. Looks like old and it already used. Disappointed.

I received the item with next day delivery and when I opened the box it had clearly been used before. The silicone pads on the top and bottom were covered in dirty and crumbs. The face shapper was not even in it's packaging. Do not buy this item you'll only have to return it like I did.

This device actually works, but expect to make it a part of your morning routine for about 2 months before the muscle you build starts to feed off the fat in that area.Lay on your bed with your head hanging off the side, basically lay your head back and do like a sit up with just your neck then into the device which helps build muscle there. x100Throw in x100 turning your head left and right without the device.Follow that with x100 opening just your mouth on the device.

This product is very cheaply made. It is not ergonomically comfortable to use for exercises and I found myself having difficulty getting through the exercises because it did feel so uncomfortable on my chest and underneath my chin. I would not recommend this product.

This feels and looks like it is made from the cheapest grade plastic -- like a cheap kids toy. It looks and feels like it could be manufactured for pennies. It squeaks loudly when used and catches when it slides, not moving smoothly in the sleeve. I even considered spraying it with WD40, to make it less "jerky".The springs do provide some resistence but I suspect an ordinary ball placed under the chin would accomish the same thing.Regardless of where I position it, the device does not fit well between my chin and my chest. It feels too long and the angle of my head tilts uncomfortably slightly backward causing neck pain.My neck hurts when I use it ... not in the front where expected from muscle contractions where I was hoping to firm, but in the back spine area. My head feels dizzy and a little odd after using it. (I do sometimes hear grinding sounds in my neck so probably do have arthritis in my neck.)At a minimum, maybe this cheaply made item should not be used by someone with neck issues of any kind and should have a disclaimer. I'm guessing it has never been clinucally tested for medical contraindications.The instructions are pitiful. They are typed in about a size 4 font. Even with a magnifier they are almost impossible to read.I would not buy it again and cannot recommend it to someone else.

I have ordered this product for years. I use it as a therapy tool to strengthen a group of muscles called the suprahyoids, under the chin and essential for swallowing. The device has always come with 3 coils of progressive resistance, light, medium and heavy. I noticed that the last two sets I have ordered, that though the coils are still color coded to indicate that they are of difference resistance levels, they are in fact the same resistance. I guess the supplier is having trouble getting the lighter springs so rather than deal with the issue, they are participating in false advertising that this is a progressive resistance device. It is not. When I addressed this issue with the seller, they responded that they are different resistances. They are not. I have used at least 2 dozen of these devices so I do know what I am talking about. I guess I will move on to find a different device to do the same work unless the manufacturer can fix their problem and assure that the product sold is the product advertised and described.

My physical therapist wants me to do chin tucks to strengthen my neck muscles to treat reverse lordosis brought on by an obliterated disc at the base of my cervical spine but I always seem to do them wrong with too much stretch. This little gadget takes away the guess work so I know I’m keeping the movement small enough.
