08-03-2026I bought another brand, of the same style of shoe and notice one day that my sock was wet after walking outside. A few days later it happened again and finally I looked at the sole and found that due to flexing (from walking) it had cracked in 2 spots. This was after less than a year. I bought these shoes they combine comfort with a better build quality. The price was basically the same as the other brand but these show no sign of cracking or flex damage. The other point worth noting is that while the tread is fairly aggressive, the rubber is soft enough that it has good gripping on smooth surfaces (tile) even when wet. Will buy again - but it may be several years before I have to.
