FUNCTION. Engineered with:
I was so busy with death in my family that I did not return in time. The fabric is rather stiff and hard and it didn't not fit. I realized I am a curvy woman and needed a fabric that had more stretch to it so unfortunatelywhen I zipped it up I felt like a stuffed turkey. Although I ordered the right size 16, it was a 16 /30 so I did not order the right size and fabric for my body type. Lesson learned.
I have to have these pants for work, and they are what they were described to be. The sizes... I had to order up a size to ensure a good fit, but no problems otherwise. I can say that I would not wear these pants if not for work. They are not comfortable to me because of the type of pants they are. They are very well made, though, and hopefully I will get used to them.
The material on these pants is really nice. Very pleased with this purchase
I bought these pants in two different sizes for a costume. Reading reviews, I sized up one. They were scratchy and horribly stiff, but would have fit the bill provided they fit. They were very tight in the hips/rear (I am an entire size larger there than in my waist) and so exchanged up a size. These fit in the hips/rear, but the rise was all the way up to my bust and there was enough gaping in the waist to fit both my hands. I would recommend these for anyone with a curvy body; if you are built more slender, these may end up being an okay trouser.
The waist is at the bra strapline. Even with that it looks like you have 3 full diapers worth of crap in your pants with the crotch half way down your thighs and bagging out in the front like I have never seen a pair of slacks look. And they are VERY long (about 6 inches too long for my 5'8" granddaughter. They look NOTHING like the sellers' picture looks on a real human being. I wish I could have gotten her to try them on before my 30 day return window closed. I even feel bad donating them to the Salvation Army because they are so unwearable and unflattering.
Run a little small! Definitely size up.
I love these work pants. I bought one pair and actually went out and rubbed them on my rose bushes to see how they would hold up. Then immediately ordered more.I have bought more expensive brands in the past, but as a farmer with the price of everything going up but the returns to the grower, I needed an inexpensive option.I listened to the other reviews about size and went up 2 sizes. They are snug in the waist, but with the elastic it's great. And no butt crack which is good looking on NO ONE!!
I like the high waist but the legs were too big. I didn’t like the way they looked on me. I have a big waist and med size legs. Other people’s reviews warned me to order 1 size bigger. That was good advice. If you are returning this item because the style was not good for you, the refund is not the full price. they only gave me 12 dollars and some cents. Just be warned.
Great quality work pants. Thick enough to keep you safe, but still comfortable. They're a little stiff to start, but a wash or two with some fabric softener takes care of that. My only issue is that these pants run very small. I wear size 12/14 for most brands, for these I had to buy size 18, and they are just on the verge of being too tight in the waist band. This could be due to the fact that my pair seems to have no elastic in the waist. The waist is gathered like it has elastic in it, but when you pull on it there is absolutely no stretch. The size chart is very accurate, so follow it instead of just buying your regular size. It would be nice if they offered an inseam longer than 32".
