Milwaukee Leather LKM1781 Men's 'The Legend' Classic Police Style Black Leather Motorcycle Jacket
Outside Features
The quality appears really good at this price point. Nearly all of my other jackets and shirts are XXL, so this XXL jacket fits correctly in terms of sleeve length, chest size. It uses YKK zippers, which are really robust, and should hold up well. The lining is quilted throughout the torso and the sleeves (not removable). Should be plenty warm. There are huge inside pockets on each side, which is nice. As with most jackets in this style, the tapered fit of the forearms will be snug, even with the cuffs unzipped. Don’t plan on wearing a Cosby sweater under this coat. Made in Pakistan, but costs about $700 less than the USA made Schotts Perfecto. Pair this with a nice scarf, and you’ll be plenty warm.
The jacket is gorgeous, but I ordered an XL for my son which is the size he wears. The sleeves were 2 inches too long; I returned it plus had to pay shipping costs & ordered a Large; the sleeves were the same length as the XL (2 inches too long). Now I will have to pay shipping costs again to return it for a Medium. If the Medium is still 2 inches long in the sleeves, I will give up & be out triple shipping costs. Nowhere on the site did it state that items ran large, or that XL was the same size as Large. Very frustrating.
Excelente calidad y me quedó bien
Looks awesome fits extremely well with a little room if I need to wear a thicker sweater with it and it is badass the only thing I'd say isn't as heavy duty as my old jacket which doesn't fit atm is the belt buckle is 2 piece instead of a sturdier heavy 1 piece one but all in all I love it
It's nice for the price. Pay close attention to the size charts and measure yourself with tape accordingly and listen to their advice. Order one size up if you intend on wearing multiple layers. The fit is very ideal for a trim fit and overall I say this is the best value price if you're looking to have something decent.
It is made with quality premium leather and made to last. Great look, and fits great. Made to last and handle all the elements and keep you warm.
Nice jacket no flaws arrived on time.I’m 5-11.5 195 lbs large fit perfectly.
This was my second order. I usually wear a 4xlt shirt. I ordered a 5xlt jacket at first and it was too small. So I order a 6xlt jacket and it fits just right. This has to be hands down the best motorcycle jacket I have ever owned. Highly recommend.
I've never bought the right size and starting think the jacket too might be mini asian sizes even though I bought a size 5xl. Then I received a notice saying my jacket would be 4 days late. Then I was told it would be another 3 days. I was already thinking about the long complicated process in refunding my money back not that I'd probably ever get it. Then suddenly my jackets was here! A week late. Wrapped in plastic even the instructions said never to wrap in plastic. But it gorgeous. My brando is a thing of beauty. Perfect size great around my happy Buddha stomach. The leather is exactly how I want and there is no harsh toxic chemical smell. I get heads turning towards me all the time. I'm extremely happy and very lucky.
I am 6 feet tall, 238 lbs I ordered a 4xl because the size chart says chest 51 inches but when I measured the actual jacket from armpit to armpit the measurement is 57 inches. Way too loose. I think a 3xl may also be too big. Who knows???
It is a basic, leather biker jacket. This tried and true design has been around forever, popular with bikers, greasers, burnouts, punk rockers and goths perennially. High quality, nice feeling zippers and snaps. A few points are taken away for not using true eyelets for the belt, but any cobbler or even a crafty individual can handle that task. Is it the absolute best out there? No, but for the price, you get a real, live Fonzie jacket for less than $200.
Very nice jacket. I am impressed with the quality. I usually wear a 4x but ordered this in a 5x. It's a little big on me but, much better than too small. I would highly recommend this jacket to anyone looking for a high- quality leather jacket at a fair price.
I purchased this jacket as a true (motorcycle) riding jacket. Plainly put, this is a good jacket. It's going to need a break-in period, which is to be expected with any leather product like this. I usually wear a size XL or XXL, depending on the accuracy in sizing of the garment, fabric, etc. I ordered a size XXXL in this jacket and it fits really good, so order up a size (or two). As a habit, when I purchase a leather product like this, I condition it (per industry/manufacture instructions) right out of the gate. It helps with the break-in process and allows me to go over every inch of the garment, methodically. Late in the conditioner application process, I discovered a point where the liner is beginning to "let go" (small hole at an attachment point). It appears that it wasn't sewn in correctly. That's a problem, as it will only get worse with wear. I'd normally return/exchange the garment, but since I've conditioned it, I don't feel like I can return it, nor do I want to lose a jacket I've already conditioned. I'll likely choose the "product support" option. If that doesn't work for me, I'll have to suck it up and bite the cost of repair out of pocket. I'll update this review with the corrective action process I landed on, and how it went. Overall, I gave this jacket 4 out of 5 stars, but only because of the flaw in the lining. If not for that, I would have given it 5 stars. Like I said at the beginning, it's a good jacket. Who doesn't like a "Dean" or "Brando"!UPDATE:I contacted the Milwaukee Support line/Leatherup.com (via the Amazon button). I was given the name of a person and an email address. I emailed (that person), explained my issue, and included a pic of the defect. He told me to return it through Amazon, as they only do "warranty work." I responded by email that I was 2 days out of the return window for Amazon and this person stopped responding. I called and explained the other avenues I was going to pursue since I had been "ghosted." Another gentleman got on the phone, and we easily and quickly lined out a return/replacement process. When my replacement jacket arrived, it was in a smaller box which means a lot of wrinkles and folds. I'll have to deal with that. The best advice I can give: 1) Order a larger size than normal. 2) Check the lining attachment, especially at the left shoulder. 3} If you need to return it, do it quick through Amazon. Avoid dealing with (the company I can't mention) on the product support button.I still rate this as a good jacket. If I had it to do all over again, I would buy this jacket.
