I've been a Fossil watch enthusiast for all of my teenage life, as well as the majority of my adult life. Recently, I've started experimenting with other brands and I have to say that I am in love. This watch is gorgeous. Very stylish. And I love the no battery technology (we'll see how long it lasts). Some people have commented that it's very hard to tell the time on this seemingly black on black watch. Although I have no trouble, I can see how it can be difficult for some people so buyers beware. The second-hand watch is not broken: it's for the chronograph; the analog stopwatch. There's a smaller dial on the bottom that keeps track of the seconds.Quick notes:- Stylish: looks great with smart work attire, suits, polos, and button-downs- No batteries needed- Good weight- Doesn't look good with tank tops
I love the watches that I received but for this one I was expecting it to be luminous as well like the other watched I bought but I guess I got scammed. lol.I've read some answers that it is luminous and fainted blue however it's not. I even tried to place the watch under the sun maybe it's just undercharged and still not luminous. I am keeping the other watch though and will just wait for another sale again.
Snatched this up for $167.39 from Amazon Warehouse deals. Only catch was it was missing the instruction booklet, which didn't matter because I just went to the Citizen website and downloaded the instructions. This is a great watch at a great price. I took it to my local jeweler (which you likely will have to do) to have a link and a half removed (which cost $8 and took less than 5 minutes) and now it fits perfect! I highly recommend. And for all those reviewers who are upset about it not being illuminated in some way, this product is more about style than anything. I have a Casio G-Shock Solar Atomic that I wear for utility/activity purposes, so I would recommend one of those watches if your top requirement is function. This is more a professional work/dress up/going out watch. In other words, this is my "grown-up" watch. For all of you salt-of-the-earth hipsters, this is a high quality analog watch. It actually has gears and moving parts. I recommend going to time.gov when you set it.
Very beautiful and elegant watchDecent look, heavy in weight strong in qualityPerfection in machine life
Looks better in person than in picture.
I'm not a watch guy, I don't want to spend 15K on a Rolex. But when I do want to wear a nice watch, I don't want to have to worry about whether or not it's dead. This watch is gorgeous, solid built, feels great on my wrist and most importantly, is eco-drive. Black on black on black, can't go wrong.
I ordered this watch for my husband as he was looking for one just like it. The face size is perfect not too big or too small. The watch feels very well made and it was easy to set the time. It has a chic black look to it and even has a stop watch feature. He loves it and I would recommend this to everyone looking!

The sustainable way to power your watch—no batteries required. Citizen’s proprietary Eco-Drive technology powers your watch using the most renewable energy: light.
Uses a renewable natural resource by converting any natural or artificial light to energy, which is then stored in a permanently rechargeable lithium-ion cell.
Keeps surplus energy in a rechargeable power cell. Designed to charge not just from the sun, but also from everyday light sources like indoor fluorescents and desk lamps.
Runs for months—even in darkness—with no need for regular battery replacement, so your watch can run forever and you never have to worry about it stopping.
