Was pleasantly surprised with beautiful pattern inside.

Way cute but runs a little big. Keep in mind, it’s a rain coat, not a winter jacket - it is thin and lightweight and isn’t meant to keep your kiddo warm. We have yet to use it in the rain but I’ll try to remember to come back here to update once we hit our rainy season! Four stars due to size running big.

My granddaughter looked so cute in this raincoat! It fits perfectly with a little wiggle room for growth. I brought the 1t and she's 16 months. Great quality as well!

*Thorough review alert*I live in Michigan (it’s winter at the time of this review) and will admit that I was skeptical purchasing this because of the conflicting size and thickness reviews. However, I needed something for what I call “Swamp Season” where we experience about 6 months of snow, rain, and wind. Having something that would go from winter to spring and didn’t cost me an internal organ were important factors. Additionally, I was also looking for something that was lighter than a snow coat. I found that this was EXACTLY what I was looking for.Pros: It’s a lightweight, waterproof raincoat. I sized up because my daughter has the height of a 2T but the “toddler tummy” of a 3T. I went with a 4T because I noticed the inside pattern went up the sleeve when rolled. As mentioned, it is cold in Michigan so I also needed room to accommodate thick sweaters. The length of the coat also goes below her butt, which was a factor I didn’t previously consider. However, it is NOT too long that it goes below her knee and makes her look like she’s wearing the equivalent to a bodycon dress. It does go above her butt when she lifts up her arms, and does appear smaller from arm pit to arm pit than I would like. That said, it still fits and is roomy enough to accommodate winter wear. It’s not bulky and is able to be used in a car seat.Cons: The hood of the coat doesn’t provide a “bill” that would keep the water from dripping down. It also doesn’t necessarily cover her whole head (but she’s in the +99% for head circumference). Even with sizing up, there isn’t much room for chest expansion. I don’t see this being too problematic since she’s a toddler and not a tween going through puberty. It is NOT thick by any means. If you’re in a colder climate, you’ll still need a sweater underneath. If your child is tall, it may be short; if your child is short, it may be too long.Overall: This was the perfect raincoat and met all my toddler’s needs and mine, too. The colors are vibrant, it’s soft, the lining is beautiful, it’s waterproof, and I didn’t need to trade a kidney for it. It’s very practical and allows room for growth, so it will go into springtime. Although it is thin/lightweight, having her wear a sweater provides enough warmth to survive Michigan winters (and Swamp Season). The price point for this raincoat and all the positives definitely outweigh the cons.BUY IT! Always make sure to check the measurements to find the appropriate size because while it is true to size, you don’t want it too tight that your little one can’t move (or grunts like someone in their Golden Years bending over).

Very cute and keeps her dry! I am very happy about the length for even more waterproof coverage for our adventures.
