It’s OK, but it doesn’t fit my hand the way I was hoping. I’ve spent two weeks fussing with it and I just can’t get it to sit right. Does what it’s supposed to do, just a little awkwardly.
I thought I’d try this Camera Hand Wrist strap hoping it might make my Fuji mirrorless camera a little easier to carry in one hand. It did not. The whole thing is far too bulky and sits awkwardly around the back of my hand. Instead of helping with grip, I found it just gets in the way when you try to shoot or adjust settings. The bottom screw wheel is another problem. It is bulky and sticks out so much that the camera can't be placed on a flat surface without wobbling or tipping over. Setting the camera down becomes a guessing game, and this is frustrating when you want to take a break or change lensesThe strap material is PU fake leather. It has that stiff, plasticky feel and I am certain it will start to flake with regular use so then little bits of plastic will get everywhere. I did not want to wait to find out.So I've gone back to using a simple wrist strap. It is lighter, less intrusive and does the job without trying to be clever. I guess this strap might suit someone, somewhere, but it is definitely not for me.
If you told me this was triple the cost of the OEM equivalent, I'd believe you. This is a fantastic strap!
Es bueno
a wedding photographer said he always used a hand strap so he could capture those quick intimate moments at a moments notice and a neck strap wasn't quick enough for him. That sold me on the hand strap and I happen to love this one. I did recently downgrade from a full body professional camera to a smaller body and I needed an extra piece to screw into the base of the camera body - but works the same
Excellent product quality! The softness of the hand grip made me wanna outgoing more.
Bought this for my Canon Rebel T7i because I can’t stand having the camera around my neck, but like to keep it handy - literally! Great build quality and adjustability. The wide screw base does interfere with the battery/sd card access, but provides superior stability and support with risking breaking the base of the camera. Wonderful addition to my camera setup!
smelled strongly of cigarettes out of the package, I can't really complain to be honest, besides that it's relatively cheap feeling, but let's be real for the price it ain't bad.
Muy satisfecho, un producto creado, diseñado ex profeso para cámaras pequeñas y que resuelven un problema.
I recently purchased this for my Canon EOS 77D and liked it so much that I bought one for my Canon M50 mirrorless camera. I know others have said that this doesn’t fit the M50 but you can make it fit if you take a little effort to force it through the smaller strap hole. It’s a little like threading a needle, but once you get it started, it’s easy enough to pull through the hole. Then attach the bottom to the tripod mount prior to adjusting to fit your hand size. The bottom screw attachment is pretty sturdy, but I also found that you can loosen it to pivot it just enough open the door to remove the battery or memory card. It’s nice not having to remove the bottom attachment completely every time I want to access the battery/memory card compartment.I will say that it has taken me about 10-15 minutes to install this on each camera as there’s some adjusting both the top and bottom straps back and forth to get it to comfortably fit around your hand. I have small hands and needed both of these about as tight as they could fit to feel secure around my hand. There was enough extra strap and I didn’t want to cut it, so I was able to force the excess strap inside the leather(?) slit where the other end of the strap comes out. It’s pretty tight and takes some fidgeting to get the strap in all of the way but I finally did it.I tried another grip that said it was made for the EOS M50, but the straps were just wide enough not to fit through the holes on the camera. It also didn’t feel nearly as well-made or comfortable as the JJC so I returned it and got this one.If anything, I wish it were easier to remove but I do like the convenience of using a camera without a neck or shoulder strap for shooting photos close to home!
Nice and fits well on my R7
A very solid grip strap for those who'd prefer a one-handed grip over the typical neck strap. I've used it multiple times a week for months and it's still held up fine. Easy to use, and good for the price.
