Been using Thermo Grizzly and Arctic Silver on a 2007 Gateway FX p7805u that I bought new. After a few years and learning about thermo paste when I took the Gateway apart to clean it.I started with Arctic Silver and read reviews saying Thermo Grizzly was better, so I figured I'd try it.Unfortunately, if you are a hard core gamer or user, this review may not be much help as I never ran this computer that hard. I can't tell you if one is better than the other. You need online performance/temperature reviews for that information. For my use, both seem to have kept the Gateway alive.Between regular cleanings, new thermal paste, a Cooler Master in 2015, Processor, RAM and SSD upgrades, have let me type this review on the 2007 Gateway today in 2025.I bought the Gateway because it was built the way it was. Reviews said it was a top performer at the time. I learned it could be easily taken apart to be cleaned, serviced and upgraded as well.It was run hard with Adobe CS6 as well as Quick Books and some other programs but has "idled" for the other part of it's life. The RAM, Processor and installation of a SSD happened around 2019.Maybe , Artic Silver, Thermo Grizzly, Cooler Master, regular cleaning, SSD, RAM and Processor upgrades has kept the Gateway going. As of this review, it's running Windows 10. working fine and running cool for what I do with it.I've got no complaints with any of the products I've used on this Gateway and will be using Thermo Grizzly on my new Acer Nitro V, which I chose because it's built similar to the Gateway that I believe Acer built for the brand in 2007.
I recently used Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut (1 Gram) for my CPU repaste, and I’m impressed with the results. This thermal paste is clearly engineered for high-performance applications and demanding systems like gaming PCs, overclocked setups, and even consoles such as PS4, PS5, and Xbox.Application was smooth and straightforward—the paste spreads evenly and has a nice consistency, not too thick or runny. After applying it to my CPU, I noticed a significant temperature drop under load, which gave me peace of mind, especially since I push my system with heavy gaming and mining.✅ Pros:Extremely high-performance thermal conductivityEasy to apply with even spreadNoticeable temperature reduction on CPU & GPUIdeal for overclockers and high-demand builds❌ Cons:A bit pricey for the small 1g tubeBest results only when applied carefully Tips:Clean off old paste thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol before applying.A pea-sized drop in the center usually works best for CPUs.For GPUs or larger dies, spread a thin, even layer for full coverage.Keep an extra tube on hand if you frequently build or repaste.Bottom Line:If you’re serious about system cooling and stability, Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut is worth every penny. It’s one of the best thermal pastes I’ve used, and I’ll definitely stick with it for future repasting jobs.
Redid the thermal paste on my 2018 Mac Mini (purchased in 2020) and cleaned the dust from the fan. It's running about 10°C cooler and the fan isn't pegged. Yes, some of the heat was from the fan but the stock paste was dry so I don't think it was doing as much as it did years ago.I used this under recommendation from other users. Easy to work with and I'm seeing good results so far. Highly recommended when every bit of cooling counts.
I bought this paste for 3 different devices: an Asus G20CB desktop, an HP Pavilion desktop, and a 2021 Asus G14 laptop. After verifying that the paste was authentic, application was pretty straightforward and easy since it came with 2 different nib/spatula tips for the syringe of pate.I basically run stock after removing the bloat, no overclocks or anything, but I still wanted to repaste due to improvements to temps. Because of that the 2 desktops didn't see much difference, 3–6-degree Celsius give or take for the CPUs and GPUs. And even now, it is still holding the same temps as it did underload as it did when I 1st repasted it.My G14 however did see a sizeable improvement from what it originally had; CPU saw a 13 degree drop and GPU saw a 5-degree drop. I can't really say if it was because the factory liquid metal application was botched or just old, but this paste does well enough to keep the CPU from going past 85 degrees since before repasting my highs would sometimes reach 100 degrees and prevents my fans from turning into jet engines. It did last a good 13 months before temps are starting to slowly climb, so I will need to repaste soon. Will probably try Hyronaught this time since others reportedly say that it is better for laptop use due to higher idle and heavy load temps.Overall, it is an excellent product (if authentic, BEWARE OF FAKES). Yes, it is expensive, but the performance results do speak for itself and the reputation that it gained as a go-to by known overclockers is warranted; but it is ultimately up to you how much you value that improvement and if it is worth the price. For me however, despite not being an overclocker, it was worth every penny since lowering those operation and idle temps is just another way to have my last longer.
Pretty good thermal paste! I used this for a new PC build, and so far, it’s performing well with no CPU thermal issues, even under heavy loads. The application was smooth, and it seems to be doing its job effectively. My only complaint is the price—it’s a bit on the expensive side compared to other options. That said, the performance justifies the cost to some extent, and I’m satisfied overall. If you’re looking for reliable thermal paste and don’t mind spending a bit more, this is a solid choice.
I expected nothing less10/10 cooling for liquid or air coolersGreat for overclocking with reasonable tempsPrice is a bit high thoThe Market itself selles it 100 pound cheaper

Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut The choice for overclockers The Kryonaut thermal paste offers excellent thermal conductivity and remains stable even at high temperatures without curing – ideal for extreme cooling demands.
Available in four sizes: 1g | 1.5ml | 3ml | 10ml
Maximum performance for low temperatures The Kryonaut thermal paste has been optimized for "Kryonauts" and demanding cooling applications, delivering impressive durability and excellent heat dissipation. Thanks to nano-aluminum and zinc oxide, Kryonaut compensates for surface irregularities and ensures optimal contact.
Application Tools Kryonaut 1g comes with a spatula to simplify the application of the thermal paste.
My thermal paste is difficult to spread or comes off the surface. What can I do?
The surface should be thoroughly cleaned and be free of grease before use. The thermal paste should be at least at room temperature when applied. It is important to spread the thermal paste very slowly during application.
How long is Thermal Grizzly thermal paste usable after opening?
With proper storage and packaging, the thermal paste can be used for at least 3 years without issues, and in many cases, significantly longer.
Why can't I find the thermal conductivity value on the packaging?
The typically theoretical thermal conductivity values vary greatly depending on the application, as important factors such as contact pressure, temperature, or surface cannot be uniformly accounted for.
Should I store the thermal paste in its original packaging after use?
Thermal Grizzly thermal paste packaging is specially coated on the inside to protect the syringe and its contents from UV radiation and other environmental influences. We recommend storing it in the original packaging.
Application of Thermal Grizzly Thermal Paste
Apply a small amount of thermal paste to the CPU The surface should be thoroughly cleaned and free of grease before use. We recommend using TG Remove or TG Cleaning Wipes for cleaning. The thermal paste should be at least at room temperature when applied.
Spread the thermal paste When applying, it is important to spread the thermal paste very slowly. For a typical Intel or AMD CPU, a single spreading motion should take about 3 seconds. The slower the movement, the easier it is to spread the paste evenly.
