The cast urethane cover of the VICE Pro Plus performance golf ball is around half the thickness that is typically used in distance golf balls. The result is a superbly smooth and consistent feel around the greens. Despite the thin cover, the VICE Pro Plus is exceptionally durable when compared to other urethane balls. Conventional cast urethane golf balls are often susceptible to rapid yellowing due to a chemical reaction with sunlight. Our engineers have slowed this process significantly using a special formula in the final urethane coating. This ensures a pearly white ball that will stay that way for many rounds. This also helps you track the ball in flight and helps you to find it should you stray off the fairway. This is a ball that offers ultimate control, high spin on short shots, soft feel, and the ability to stop dead-what we call "S2TG: Stick to the Green".
I rarely write reviews but this product I felt truly deserved it.I have become increasing alarmed at the ever rising cost of high performance golf balls and every time I fork over my $50 for a dozen balls - get this feeling as though I am being taken for a ride. I am a 9 handicap 59 year old who loves to play golf but just don't have the time to practice and I live in the northeast so have seasonal play. When I do get the chance to play I want to have confidence in the ball I play so I can maximize my limited play. I have been using the Titleist AVX for years. The ball matches my game well. The price of this ball has continued to rise and they are now priced at the level of most other premium balls and I have been on a search for lower priced alternative for about a year. I've tried several other balls that get great reviews from other players who love them - I just haven't found another ball that plays as well for me as the AVX. Well - until this week. I watched a YouTube review on the Vice Pro Plus ball where they made a side by side objective comparison with the AVX. So - I decided to give them a try and I must tell you that this ball performs really really well in comparison with my experience with the AVX. I would say they are equals. It is long, durable & spins well with long and greeenside irons. If you play the AVX or ProV1 - I would encourage you to give this ball a try. Honestly I was wildly surprised at the performance - and for 2/3 of the price.
All of my longest drives have been with this ball. I have used ProV1 & ProV1x, TP5x, Bridgestone, Callaway, Wilson Staff, you name it, I’ve played it. Lots of good golf balls out there but none as great as this one. Gets great spin on irons and wedges yet doesn’t spin up on drives. Has a soft but solid feel to it. Doesn’t feel like you’re hitting a marshmallow. The durability is also phenomenal. Played a full round with one of these that included shots out of the sand and out of lies that definitely should scratch a golf ball. After the round it still looks brand new. This ball is everything anyone could want from a golf ball and nothing they wouldn’t. Best golf ball ever. Bar none.

I’ll have to say first…I’m a Titlelist golf ball player. I’m 65 years old. I used to play the ProV1x then switched to the Velocity as I got older. I had not been getting the distance from the tee that I used too. I understand I’m older and my swing speed is slower as well. A friend turned me onto this ball…WOW…I can personally say that for me I’m getting 25 plus more yards off the tee with this golf ball. It’s actually designed for older golfers or golfers with a slower swing speed. My swing speed now is anywhere from 88 to 93 mph. Not too bad at 65 years old and a bit over weight as well. But as soon as I started using this ball…well the guys in my regular group started saying have you been taking lessons or something we don’t know about. I said ..nope…I’ve just changed the type of ball I’m playing with. Like me they knew nothing about Vice Golf Balls…but they all have switched to them now….we are ALL hitting it much further off of the tee now. Lost my advantage but I just love the competition we have between us. We still have to all get the ball in the hole…but the hole is much easier to reach hitting short irons into the green instead of hybrids or long irons. I can’t promise you the yards I’ve gained personally, but I can say my entire group has gained 15 yards plus off of the tee using this ball…I’d recommend at least giving this ball a try….it’s all I purchase now. This golf ball is fantastic ️♂️⛳️
The Pro Plus is a great ball for my swing speed, I have around 105mph clubhead speed with a driver. I think all of these ball fittings are in some way related to your clubhead speed and shot shape. I hit a low draw off the tee, don't know if it's high or low spin rate. But hit wedges and short clubs normal height, aware of it if a ball doesn't bite with wedges and pitches - these are solid in that area. The other comparable ball I like is the Srixon Z star, if you like that ball you'll like this one. These ship from Germany so you need to be patient, I think mine took a couple of weeks and I got one of those FedEx held up in customs messages. I purchase the white flavor really like it just bought 3 dozen for my 2nd order this year.
Top top…
Up there with the best of them, TP5x Prov1.
Great golf balls! I have only been buying Vice mostly this season and I love them. These red ones are my favorite yet and I’ve tried at least 6-10 different color waves. So easy to track and see from a distance. I was able to spot this ball 250 yards down the fairway with no problem.
I have played pretty much every different top of the line ball over the years and always came back to the pro v1x. This is the first ball to change that. I tried the vice tour first before trying these and those are a good ball as well just a little too hard. When I tried my first dozen of the pro plus I liked them but wasn't sold on them. That is until i switched back to the pro v1s. I was leaving everything 5 yards short with about every club and the lower clubs near the PW was more like 8 yards. As soon I switched back to vice the difference was clear. For me that was enough there to switch for the price. Now as for spin, I found them to fly straighter than the pro v1s. As for back spin I love them. The pro v1s were too predictable and you could hit a good shot and spin the ball 10 feet back away from the pin. These things hit and stick. So much easier to control. I found the same thing for chipping, there isn't as much spin but it's way more consistent and easier to control. As for durability, a strong wedge shot will sometimes cut the cover but no differently than you would with the pro v1s.If you haven't tried these balls, you are hurting your game and your wallet. Give them a shot, you won't be sorry. Also I switched to the neon green and once you get used to it, you will not want to play with a white ball again. Almost impossible to lose and love it for putting now.
If you're looking for a good alternative to some of the expensive brands this is a good ball for you. The red is very noticeable and other players see them. Very soft on the greens and if you have a good club head speed you'll notice a few extra yards off the tee.
Very good. Cheaper than actually site of the ball
Getting good distance and control from these. Price not bad.
