Odoland Portable LED Camping Lantern with Ceiling Fan - Hurricane Emergency

I bought this light for camping. It is lightweight and very bright. It would be excellent for emergency situations as well so I ordered a second one to keep around. I can’t speak for the fan part because I haven’t used that feature yet but so far I am really happy and it’s a nice change from the heavy Coleman light I have been using for years.

Definitely good for the price! Fan more powerful than I expected, which is good! Will use it properly in 4 weeks at a festival but I think this will definitely help with that heavy heat inside the tent on a sunny morning and throughout the day. Even tempted to put it to use at home as it seems powerful enough. It takes 2 D batteries. I got Duracell so we'll see how quickly it runs through those. Will update review, if necessary, after testing it out properly.

I wanted this fan for camping and when we go to the beach. After reading my reviews on different fans, I decided this was going to be my Best Buy. Once the product arrived, I was not disappointed.This fan is lightweight and built with quality materials. It was easy to remove the top to access the battery compartment. Put in two D cell batteries, and you’re all set. The different settings on the fan are a great feature as well as the light. The hook makes it great to hang from the center of the tent. This fan puts out a decent amount of cool air.The light definitely comes in handy when it is super dark and you’re trying to find something or simply get in and out of the tent without tripping over something.I have not used it enough yet to know how long the batteries will last but it’s easy enough to carry a spare set whether you were camping out at the beach or simply relaxing somewhere.This fan is set at a great price point and performs wonderfully. If you were looking for a decent size fan compact enough for camping yet big enough to put out a decent amount of air with the added light. This product is a great option.

Took this camping for the July 4th holiday. We hung it up under our canopy. The fan helped keep air circulating quite nicely and the light was bright enough for us all to play cards well after dark! Definitely worth the money and definitely a quality product!!!

I think this fan is good, depending on your expectations. On a super hot camping night, I would want two, maybe even three of them. The light is bright, and very nice. The fan, if you’re wanting to feel it on you, is not that effective. But it depends on how far away it is from you. It is great for circulating the air around. I probably would never use the “low” setting, unless it was a cool night and I wanted the air circulation. We have an 8 person tent, and the “high” setting isn’t strong enough for us. We usually camp in warmer weather, so we probably would need 3 set at different corners of the tent. It does take 2 D batteries, which I like, because you don’t have to carry a hundred extra batteries with you. (We have another fan that takes 8 batteries, with the option of an adapter with electricity, and the fan power is definitely higher, but you have to buy a TON of extra batteries) I gave it five stars, because it is exactly as described. For fall and spring camping, I think would be perfect. It is adjustable, but the hook is fixed, so you cannot swivel it around. It adjusts forward and backwards, but not full circle. The light can be used as a stand too, so you can use it on a table. Like I said, it depends on your expectations and wants.

It would have been good to have had an option to recharge via USB, rather than just batteries that are taken in and out. Appears to do as it says but have not tested yet.

I bought this for our first camping trip and it was very useful. It was placed in the middle of the tent, hanging down and the buddy heater below it. We didn’t need to use the fan to distribute the heat, but instead used the lights in the evening. Boy was it bright on the low setting. The medium lit the entire 10 person tent like a regular room light.After camping, I tried using it as a desktop fan while I work and it came in handy. There are three fan setting and I was perfectly fine with it on the low setting. I angled it so I could feel the breeze but not get too cold if it’s blowing directly in my face. I started to use it on Wednesday afternoon. It was perfect and I didn’t need to turn the big fan or AC on. Perfect solution. Continued to use it on Thursday and Friday. But forgot that it was on all weekend long. I didn’t even hear the fan running. That’s how quiet it was. Come Sunday evening, I sit at my desk to check emails and to my surprise this fan was still chugging along. It wasn’t breezy on low, it you could see that it’s spinning and get minimal feel of the wind.This lasted on brand new batteries all weekend long!I only deduct a star because of the switch. They’re too close to each other and instead of a slide switch it could be something else. Other than that, love this fan. The handle are good and don’t feel weird either. You can hang this or prop it up.Another great feature is that the led lights can go one way and the fan another. I kept the box so that it stay in great condition.

I bought this for a camping trip and I’m returning it right after coming home. The light works perfectly fine but the fan itself is not powerful at all with only 2 fan speeds that barely have any difference between the 2. The handle on the top that screwed on to find the batteries underneath kept falling off and wouldn’t click back into place. The whole thing is just cheaply made to be honest. There’s better options on Amazon to be honest
