One of the reviews even posted a picture of it with a box chain however mine came with some flimsy lightweight other type of chain. I reached out to Amazon and they gave me a $20 credit which is probably the cost of the chain so I'm very happy with the resolution Amazon provided. Just not too pleased with Boston Bay about getting the cheaper type of chain.
