Ordered this after seeing an ad for hanging canvas wall art in motor home. Easy to use and holds well. The largest wall art I've used it for this far has been 16x20.

The product doesn't work as advertised and once you have used it you cannot return. All my paintings fell down within 5 mins of fixing to a stone wall .. also I'm not sure that there is 60 inches (5ft) length of the tape on the reel as.advertised

Excellent!!! This stuff really works. Better than any other mounting tape I've ever tried. It's a bit difficult to get your fingers off of the adhesive if you accidentally touch it, but this just goes to show how STRONG this stuff is. And the red peeling back sticker is very helpful considering some of the stuff I am mounting is also clear.Buy this!! You won't be disappointed. I'm about to order another roll

Tried to use as a shower application..holding up a hand held shower sprayer bracket that holds the ‘sprayer handle’ when not in use. The shower tiles I stuck the tape to are high gloss, the tape held up for a couple of weeks but then started to slowly peel off and wouldn’t ‘re-stick.’ Very good tape though, seems like it will hold something quite heavy, wont work in ‘high humidity’ areas though, it will eventually fail.

I purchased this tape to try to attach a large photograph to the wall at my new apartment. The pointing ways about 7 lb. Despite using the entire tape lining the top of the frame the pointing fell after about an hour.I think the product might work if your wall is perfectly flat, unfortunately the walls are my apartment are painting with textured paint. Very disappointed, total wast of money. The only good news is that the tape did not leave any residue and the photo survived the fall.

I initially had a problem with this order, but the Company was quick to rectify it and shipped me replacement tape for free. Here are their instructions and I hope that you will use them, because the package does not come with these. I will update you once I have used the replacement tape.1) Use the tip of your nails to create a small gap in between the adhesive and the backing. This can be used to make the peeling much easier in the end. [I did this originally.]2) Cut the Mounting Tape strip and stick it into one of the surface that needs to be adhered first before trying to peel off the adhesive backing. It would be easier to peel off the backing if the strip's position has already stabilized well. Laying it down on a surface would stabilize its placement, thus allowing for easier peeling. [I did this, too.]3) You can also use a knife to cut the tape strip. This would prevent the adhesive from clumping together. Please take care whenever you are handling a knife. Always take a conscious effort in making sure that the knife's sharp edge faces away from you.4) Also, you can use the warm air exhaust from a hair dryer to lessen the hold of the adhesive to its backing. This is the best way to easily install the mounting tape. You could reduce the adhesive peeling's grip on the tape by using the warm air from a hair blower. [THIS WILL HELP YOU REMOVE THE BACKING FROM THE TAPE ONCE IT HAS BEEN APPLIED TO YOUR ITEM.]Also, here are the tips to ensure maximum bonding strength with the Mounting Tape's application:1) Apply as much strips of mounting tape as possible to the surface. Increasing the surface area of application would greatly increase the adhesive strength of the mounting tape.2)For an easy installation, apply the tape first and stick it to the preferred surface before peeling off the red backing. Make sure to apply pressure or press the tape firmly on all of its areas during application to ensure maximum contact and greater initial bonding.3) After peeling the liner or adhesive peel, make sure to not touch the adhesive side as oils from your hands or any other foreign materials can contaminate the adhesive and affect its bonding strength.4) Keep the mounting tape in a cool and dry area. A zip lock container would also be ideal. This is to ensure that the tape's adhesive does not smudge. Adhesives, whatever the type of tape may be become more viscous under high temperatures, hence keeping it a hot or damp area would make the adhesive gooey. To ensure that this does not happen, store your mounting tape in a cool and dry place.XFasten Acrylic Heavy Duty Double Sided Mounting Tape Removable, 1-Inch x 60-Inch

Packaging was hard to get off as the tape is so sticky, and also starting to pull the red cover tape off was tricky. But once done it was just a matter of cutting an appropriate size (in my case, small pieces positioned in the center at the bottom of the frame), and that was easy. It was more difficult to stick it to the frame and pull your fingers away, again, because it's sticky! But that's it's purpose! Might be better to try using a couple of small tools to hold and press into place on the frame and to keep wide fingers away entirely! I have just begun to hang the photos and painting after renovating the whole house so I still have a ways to go. I will try the tools on the next batch! But with this tape, what I have hung, is now straight and fixed to the wall.As for using it without a hook/nail to hang a picture, check other reviews as I didn't try to do that. All my photos have glass and I was reluctant to take a chance of it not working.

Tape was used to hang acoustic foam weighing 2 ounces onto a painted wall. After one week, no problems at all. The foam has remained in place. One strip of tape had to be removed from the wall. It came off clean, with no paint being stripped off. It really is removable.I used a utility knife to lift a corner of the tape to get it started. A little bit tricky, but doable.
