Tough enough for chores, but styled for a night out! A durable soft washed waxed cotton/poly blend shell that is lined with a brushed 100% cotton flannel. Featuring a heavy-duty zipper with snap down storm flap, drop tail back, big cargo pockets with flaps, and flannel lined hand warming pockets. Finished with corduroy accents, debossed antique brass buck tag, and Signature Buck embroidery.
Love this jacket, beautiful and fits nice. Helps in between cold and slightly cool for lighter jackets. Nicely made.
I love everything about this jacket! The color is perfect - my favorite shade of dark olive gray/green - and the fit is spot on. I ordered a large even though I could have probably gotten away with a medium (I'm about a size 8-10, 5'5" and 157 lbs., but have a larger chest). However, I want to be able to wear a sweater underneath when the weather gets colder. The plaid flannel lining is a lovely deep shade of red/black and the lightweight corduroy accent compliments the green very well. Construction seems to be high quality for a shirt jacket - zipper, snaps, seams, pockets are all of a decent quality. Please note that the photos show it right out of the package, so there are some wrinkles, but they look like they'll come right out with a tiny bit of ironing. There is a hint of a "shine" to the material - nothing offensive - that indicates the water resistance. We're going to have some rain and colder weather tomorrow, and I'm eager to test the jacket! Bottom line: buy with confidence!
I love the style and fit of this jacket, but I question whether it’s actually waxed, and hence how waterproof it would be. I’ve had several waxed canvas jackets, and the fabric of this one is nothing like a traditional waxed fabric. I wetted a sleeve, and it wasn’t, in fact, waterproof. That said, I was able to treat it with Barbour Thornproof Dressing to make it a truly waterproof, windproof jacket. So if you’re looking to buy this affordable and nicely styled jacket to use as a waterproof waxed jacket, you might want to invest in a can of wax dressing.
This medium-weight jacket was incredibly useful for my trip to Africa. Its 100% cotton soft lining made it very comfortable over thin moisture-wicking shirts - or over a fleece for chilly early morning and evening safaris, as well as windy 17ºC / 60ºF weather on top of mountains. It even looked stylish enough for casual dinners — and the TWIG color didn’t show dirt even after multiple wears. The deep front pockets easily fit an iPhone 14 Pro for convenient access.I’m 5’4”, usually S/M in tops, 28 in jeans / 6 in pants (34C/36B, 30–32" waist, 38" hips), and the Medium was a little long and roomy for my taste but ideal for layering. The Small would have definitely been tight for comfort.Easy care too — washed on permanent press, air-dried, with no shrinkage or excessive wrinkles requiring ironing. It was my first purchase from LW and I was very pleased.
Bought this barn jacket for kicking around in the yard when it's cold doing chores, etc. Absolutely love the purple color. Fabric has a subtle sheen which makes it "fancy" enough to wear into town. Surprised how well it is made for the price. Only thing missing would be some interior pockets, but it does have a hand warming pockets +2 patch pockets and a little tiny exterior chest pocket.
Muy buena calidad
This jacket is more gorgeous in person. I knew I would like it as I saw it on the TV show The Walking Dead, but in person it's more beautiful than it looked on TV. It has a slight sheen to it, but very slight, not shiny. It makes it look quite expensive. The material is heavy duty, but not too stiff and it has really nice corduroy accents. The pockets are in the right spot too so I can actually put my hands in them (some are too high up). I wear a 6-8 in dresses and medium in most shirts (small in t-shirts). I decided to get this in a small although some reviews say it runs smaller and advised to go a size up.(Originally bought Medium as shown by Amazon, but then messaged seller to exchange to Small) I'm really glad I didn't as it fits perfectly. It does cinch in at the waist, but not so it's tight, just enough that it makes this look feminine which is important with this style of jacket so you don't look like you're wearing men's cloths. There is still enough room that I can fit a medium size sweater underneath, but not a bulky sweater. I got this with one of their plaid wool shirts to layer underneath when it's cooler. This is not a winter jacket at all, definitely a fall / spring jacket. Very good quality jacket, well made with even stitching, durable material and stylish enough to wear in the city. I am a high end shopper (although this jacket is inexpensive) and this fit the bill of my very picky taste. Extremely happy with my purchase.
Nice jacket for rainy weatherA bit on the small side
Really happy with this coat. It is amazing quality for the price. I am 5'4", 160 lbs, 34B and bought a Large because I wanted to be able to fit a sweater underneath, and it is perfect. The flannel on the inside is soft and cozy. Can't wait to wear this coat this winter, it is warm without being too heavyweight for northern Arizona.
This coat is fantastic, good fit, wind proof and warm enough but can layer underneath if need be.
This a super well made shirt and extremely comfortable. Great value. Sized correctly and easy to keep clean.
I loved, loved this jacket. It is well made, the flannel lining is a great addition, all snaps and closures work well. I loved the feel of the waxed fabric. However, I am 5'2"/97#. I ordered a XS as recommended on the Amazon website. It fit great in the upper torso, but was snug around the hips. If I had on a pair of cords or heavy jeans it would be too tight. The sleeves were just a tad long, but who cares really? Sooo disappointing, as I would have loved to keep this jacket. Highly fashionable, functional and attractive.
I was looking for a barn jacket for fall wear. Found this gem on Amazon. I love everything about it. It is well-made with sturdy zippers and snaps, and fits perfectly in the loose-fitting way that barn jackets are meant to fit. I love the burgundy colour. The fabric weight is perfect--not flimsy like a shirt. Beautiful lining, too. I have had a few compliments on it and I've only worn it a few times so far.Price was reasonable, too. Highly recommend.
