TL;DR - insanely comfortable pants well-suited to wear around the house and outdoors as long as it isn’t too cold; they are extremely thin and won’t offer much warmth but I cannot say anything negative about this purchase; worth buying a backup pair for when I wear the . . . pants . . .off of these pants! One evening last month I put on a pair of warmup pants — THE warmup pants, I had no other — and realized they weren’t all that new when Pope JPII was alive, and the elasticity was gone completely, and there was too much pant material for my frame, and maybe I should retire these. They were fairly heavy, but I live in a sub-tropical climate and hardly ever need anything so heavy. So I bought these because they were rated well and inexpensive compared to other known brands and I was not going to be hassled by the thousands of off-brand options, all of which I regard as a gamble at best and a hassle at worstI am very pleased with my purchase. For context, I am 6’0”, between 160 and 165 lbs depending on the day, and could reasonably be described as long-legged but not drastically so.Size: I bought medium, and they fit me perfectly. Take my height and weight into account in deciding your size. They even might run a hair long, but that could be due to how they sit at my waist.Style: I wear these in and around the house, and need only impress my dog, so these were simple and basic enough that I didn't much care how they look, but the photos are accurate.Comfort: I have achieved maximum comfort permitted by natural pants law, and wear these at all times until I go out during the day, and from after I get home and dress down.Material: The material is very thin and lightweight. I don’t think I would want to be outdoors in temperatures below 60° F for long in these, but that’s not of much concern to me. If you have cooler temperatures often enough and want something to wear outside, this is not the right option. If this description matches your need, you cannot go wrong with these!
Too long. Waist size is good (M) but the length is too long, I’ll just have to use these for mowing the lawn with the riding mower. Otherwise, good pants.
Honestly for the price you can't beat it. I am 6ft 295 to 300 pounds and these fit nicely. I do landscaping and wanted a pair of pants that were lightweight. Fortunately I needed some to look like dress slacks(Dickies or other work brands) and these fit the bill. To be used for what they are intended for id say go for it. They're comfortable and lightweight. I love that I don't have to worry about losing the drawstring in the waistband because both ends are attached. Not to mention they're stylish and versatile. Be warn the length of the pants is 34 which given the circumstances of hanes products is not too bad for most people. Personally I tuck them in my boots like you would combat pants and I'm good. The drawstring has stayed true to keeping my pants from sagging which is a common problem I have with most pants even with a belt. Let me know if this was helpful hopefully you have the same luck in finding a eco friendly quality pair of track pants.
good fit
My son has some sensory issues. THese are his favorite "safe" pants. He has been wearing them for many years. They do shrink but that doesnt happen until they've been dried the 573rd time, so no worries. Also he is a boy, and so they do eventually wear out. But as a kiddo with a growing waist line that is helpful that it's elastic. Also even though these are athletic wear, he can get away with wearing them wherever.
I bought these for my dad. Fit was good, though a little long and he is tall so may need to have them taken up. Not very thick so better weight for Spring and Autumn weather.
These pants are invaluable when you’re trying to golf in early spring and late fall. The drawstring ensures a snug fit. If you’re on a golf trip, pack them for inclement weather and/or going out to a restaurant. Look great, versatile and comfortable.
I have bought several of these over the past few years and as with anything there is the good, the bad and the ugly. The Good - These are probably the most comfortable pants you will ever wear. The material is light and soft. They look very good as well I wear with Polo shirts and T shirts. THE BAD - While I love draw stings I don't love these drawstrings. What they do is take a length of string and bring the ends together in the back of the pants and "sew the ends down". The problem is sometimes they don't get them sewed down very good at all. Some will come loose in the back and when it does it is almost impossible to get the string threaded back through the waist band. THE UGLY - While these are the most comfortable pants you will ever wear they are not durable. Granted the will NOT ball up but if you have to do anything where you are actually working they will wear, snag easily. These pants are very delicate and as long as you are doing no work they will be fine as long as the drawstrings stay sewed.
The pants (L) are absurdly long, I've never gotten track pants so off in length. Waist fit is fine, comfort is fine but thin. Probably going to use as lounging indoors pants, but nothing more
Very good pants, fit well
