This is a really great product but difficult to use on small mouths. We had a re-mold several times on my 7 year old and never got the fit quite right. We watched the videos and read the tutorials but it still was off. She'll wear it for flag football but I may wait to repurchase until she's a little older/bigger.
Compré una talla más grande pero aún así se amolda bien aunque haciéndole un leve arreglo , es cómodo aunque duro, se puede respirar y hablar.
As a person formerly in the dental field, this product is certainly not worth 20 bucks at all. The shaping is cumbersome so I had to use my former life's skills to "round" out the curves that stick out to make it more comfy. After 4 tries, I got it to an acceptable form which is still a little loose but overall the arch shape is there. If you had a mold of the arch - then at least you have an easier time to reheat and cool but while on the model - winging it in the mouth is frustrating. Use boiled water in a bowl and about 30 secs is just about the perfect balance between softening and handling. Best you can do is first mold the basic shape. Once set, keep the child biting down and look at how much you have to work to round out at the curve and then curl the back up to cover 1/3 of the cheek-side crown of the teeth. That's what will be the 2nd, 3rd and likely 4th to add finishing touches. Trying to isolate and dip the sections you want to "perfect". Maybe it's me trying to get office quality mold but if you're not good with this stuff, then look for a pre arched one and not this flat one. I only got this because it was "recommended" by the coach but from my view - not good. Best option but most expensive is the dentist, but replacing broken teeth is much much more so weigh the options. I gave it a shot, this is my review for what it's worth....
Good
Excellent produit
Easy to mold, very durable- has lasted my entire lacrosse season and will most likely last another lacrosse season. I know these cost a little more than regular mouth guards but they are thin making it easy to talk with him and they fit perfect. The value is unbeatable! My coach didn’t even think I had a mouthguard in oh and they stay in and don’t fall out!
Sehr gut anpassbar, guter Halt und sehr gute Haltbarkeit. Schränkt Sprache und Atmung nicht wesentlich ein.
I’ll admit, this guard isn’t as comfortable as the gel or silicone alternatives, but it does its job well. It just takes a little time to get used to that firmer plastic feel inside your mouth. After a few months of basketball wear, you can clearly see where my grinding happens and how the material has worn slightly—but it’s held up better than expected, especially across the front where I tend to catch the occasional elbow.Overall, it’s a solid pick if you want something slim, simple, and low-profile that still provides decent protection. And it comes in every color imaginable—for anyone who likes, or whose 3-ball game depends on, a clean pop of Neon Flash or Athletic Orange!— Curated by Jaded John | #OrderlyCleanDesign
Thin and works well. Molds to teeth well. Took a few tries to mold it to my teeth correctly but the instructional video was helpful. Easy to speak and drink water while it’s in. Can be easily understood while speaking as opposed to the large squishy mouth guards. Seems durable and is a good price, didn’t come with a carrying case which I purchased separately for about $5
As good if not better than the Over Priced guards you buy at the Dentists. THIN, easy to fit and a pleasure to use. No gag response. Love this product buying another one right now !!
Wow! Quel mouthpiece! Parfait pour le flagfootball! Se forme facilement et permet de respirer. Comparable à la marque plus chère pour moins de sous!
We have purchased a few over the years for my daughter who plays lacrosse. Works great and isn’t too big. She can reshape as needed. She even reshaped to use when she wore braces.
The Sisu guards are excellent. My kids insist on them for their small size and excellent fit. They protect well and come in a variety of colors to fit their style and gear. They are very easy to mold and last a long time. All of the kids say they are comfortable and never complain about wearing them as they do not hinder breathing.
